2021-08-07 22:46:57 +0000 UTCi think its really hard to say if the GOM was wrong or not. they were just too good to be on the same team. when a team has 5 star players that are literally the best in their positions, then it becomes rly hard for them to take any game seriously even if they wanted to. Midorima imo was actually the most ideal player. He was confident and almost arrogant but he always played seriously no matter who his opponent was. he always went to practice and did everything at 100%. You can see while the others were playing around and trying to compete with each other, he didnt join in and just said he would do whatever he can to win, period. Kise also didnt have bad intentions and actually wanted to have some fun to motivate the others. Murasakibara and Aomine were both just bored to death bcuz they cant even use their potential to their max since each game was just light work. Akashi's goal is get a clean victory no matter what. He must remain the best and absolute (in his eyes) and aim to crush his opponents both physically and mentally. Kuroko's teamwork ideals cannot be applied to the GOM unless a team as strong as them appears. Cuz imagine if just 2 of the GOM were on the same team, it doesnt matter what pairing, Seirin would have 0% chance against that duo. They dont even need to work together and it would be impossible to stop.
