This game is one of my absolute favorites even over the match against Aomine mainly because I find the struggles of the opponents so relatable. Murasakibara didn’t do anything but grow to be super tall with long arms and legs and this automatically makes him a formidable opponent. I had a friend in high school that he reminds me of- he always played basketball just because he was really tall and it was expected of him but he never really loved the game mainly because it didn’t require a lot of effort. And Tatsuya’s issues are extremely relatable and a 180 turn on Murisakabara. He’s trained as hard as he could his whole life and become the best “an ordinary man” can be and still loses against those with natural talent (his story reminds me a lot of Oikawa in Haikyuu). He’s had a similar experience as Kuroko except where Kuroko found his place by finding a specialty only he is capable of, Tatsuya trained to be as perfect as possible in every aspect of the game he could. That plus Teppei’s storyline and Kagami’s growth just make the whole game great. The reactions are wonderful and insightful. Take care of yourself.
