Hey everyone! Thank you all for your patience while I recovered—I seriously appreciate you. Whatever I caught was nasty, so here’s your friendly reminder to take your vitamins, eat your veggies, and have a cup of tea for me! 🍵

I wish I could’ve gotten more work done while I was sick, but honestly? Most of my time was spent battling fevers between 100-103 degrees, with sleep being the only real accomplishment. BUT the worst is finally behind me, and now we’re back to our usual rapid-fire content! 🔥

What's Coming Up?

• I’m officially returning to streaming every other day (including Dust’s streams, of course! ❤️).

• Right now, he’s playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, so if you want a sneak peek, be sure to catch tomorrow’s stream—I can’t wait to see you all there!

• My main focus this week is finishing the last three sketches from the slots I took at the start of the month. After that, I’m diving back into my main queue and newbie queue—and hopefully, this will be the LAST MONTH for the main queue before it’s finally gone.

Some Incredible Tax News!

I talked about this a bit in the Discord, but I have to share it here too because it’s life-changing.

The other day, Travis and I were casually talking about taxes in another state, which led me to look into how Washington handles digital goods. Cue a deep-dive investigation. 🕵️‍♂️

Turns out, if a sale went to someone outside of Washington state, it wasn’t subject to WA’s taxes. So, I spent an entire day tracking down every single transaction I made in 2023 (yes, every. single. one.)—and guess what? My taxable amount dropped from $39,000 to just $1,800.

That means my tax dues went from $5,000 (including penalties) to just $200! 😭💖 Not only does this free up $427 per month that I was setting aside for this, but I’m also getting a refund from the payments I already made!

I still have my federal tax bill to tackle, but at least now I can actually breathe instead of suffocating under the weight of WA taxes. Your favorite tax-ridden dog is now a very happy (and much less stressed) puppy. 🐶✨

What's Next?

With that weight off my shoulders, I feel rejuvenated and so ready to get back to what I love—art, stories, and creating with you all instead of drowning in tax documents. BLEGH.
