Holiday Preparations! YOUR ADVICE NEEDED!

Welcome to Angell's weekly ramble at you about plans that I usually stick to 85% of the time. (which nowadays is pretty high for artists). I want to share with you all my excitement for the upcoming Holidays, I am feeling super energetic lately, waking up to do work has been so refreshing especially with the big Life change I made. Thank you all for being so supportive this year, I want to show my appreciation for you all, but I am a little unsure of how to do so! I have been trying to plan a sorta event thing for December, but I am not sure what you all would like... SO if you have any ideas, even if they are silly, please throw them into The comments, here are some that I had,

•December Movie nights (most likely ran differently than in the past)
• Game streams of your choices! Spooky, wintery, just anything in general!
•Loooong stream day….like really long? >:3
•Sketchathon weekend
• 12 day’s of christmas: 12 themed commission slots, Like drawtober♥
• Holiday cocktail Stweam :3
•Winter based YCH’s
•Multislot YCH
•In house Secret Santa, you may even get me as your Santa!

We can do more than one of these, BTW, so feel free to tell me your favorites!

Holiday Creative Competition

One thing I know we will be doing for sure, if there is enough support, is a Competition! I wanted to do one for Halloween, however things did not work out, as you all know (ehem MOVING, I'm looking at you). Here are the bare bones of the competition!

•ANYTHING creative is eligible: Cosplays, Holiday themed baking, pictures of your pets decked out for the festivities, photography, Art, Writing, any and anything will be applicable!

• You will be judged on craftsmanship, suitability towards the theme, overall creativity, and finally quality!

• The rewards will be 1st place: 2 person sketch, 2nd place: 1 person sketch. 3rd Place: a simple chibi!

Overall a $150+ pool of rewards, and a small way of me giving back to you all for your endless support and love! PS: if you would like to donate something to the competition as a reward, let me know! artists and writers, It's a great way to have some fun and give back to the community that loves us so!

I will need some judges so that it is not just me judging! If you have a critical eye, would like to abstain from the competition, please message me!!

I will be doing a stream around Christmas, either the 23rd or the 24th, where I will announce the results of the competition to stream live! Depending on how long that stream is, I may even be doing the rewards that day!

For all you have done for me this year, for the support, the patience, and the love I have been given this year. 2023 means a lot to me, It means the first year of no School, the first year in Washington, the First year living and loving my job, and the first year I am ready to face my past and choose happiness and courage to push forward. I hope you can all join me for the Journey, I hope you can all celebrate the joys, and mourn the losses that come with the passing of a year. With your feedback, we can put together some really fun things to do! So let's go out with a Bang, let's make magic in the dreary grays of winter, let's have fun, and lean on our community to bring us joy.
