Yes! Day6 are literally so great. Only the pianist, Wonpil, is playing here but they are a Kpop band. Obviously Korea has bands, but they are also Kpop in that they did the whole trainee thing, have the look, were formed by the company they signed with, and compete and perform with other Kpop groups on music programs. There have been several Kpop bands through the years but Day6 is probably the most popular one currently. Because they are freaking great!! 4 out of 5 members would be the main vocalist in any other group, but share it pretty evenly here. The 5th, the drummer Dowoon, used to not sing at all but does a tiny bit now at the urging of the others. Day6 are great for their vocals, but really great for their music which they write mostly themselves. There’s a saying Day6 has no bad songs. Which as one of the few bands (Kpop or otherwise) I actually listen to their entire albums I highly agree with. Their discography is what I walk to work to every morning. They also write A LOT...which maybe attributes to them being notorious for forgetting their lyrics like you could see here a bit 😂😂 fans don’t even get surprised any more and members are beyond being bothered by it which makes it even more hilarious 😂😂 they also do a TON of covers to English songs and love Brit pop rock and acoustic pop as well as take a lot of influence from Japanese rock scene. Seriously one of my top 5 bands! Hope you check out even more of their stuff
