I started watching in January of 02 so I missed all the deadman Undertaker stuff but had seen some VHS tapes of what he had done prior and I was hyped beyond belief when they started this storyline. The build up to it week to week was amazing and it did not disappoint 12 year old me. I taped this mania and watched it for years. I still remember that the original broadcast malfunctioned for a second and had this solid pink image pop up just as Taker is taking off his hat. This proves you don't need 30 minutes to tell a good story.

Just that match alone being about barely 10 minutes or less told a story in the ring, Kane was traumatized that entire match cause Taker was actually back and that caught him off guard and him saying that he shouldn’t ever had returned gave Taker the advantage.
