it failed due to two reasons, 1. nobody wanted to boo rikishi as he was still over as a face, 2. they had him play 2nd fiddle to triple h when he was revealed to be the real mastermind behind running down austin.

I said in my head "not only is he going up there, but he's going down too" but hey, I guess Tally knows how you felt when you picked Edge in the Elimination Chamber
