6 Man Hell in a Cell from Armageddon 2000 (Tally Time)

it failed due to two reasons, 1. nobody wanted to boo rikishi as he was still over as a face, 2. they had him play 2nd fiddle to triple h when he was revealed to be the real mastermind behind running down austin.

I like the ending because that’s the only way to win one of these in the games. You just gotta sneak a pin in there whenever you can.

THECRIMSON FUQER

During that time they tried to push Rikishi as a monster heel, by 2001 he would be in the midcard again.

I get emotional watching wrestling from this time. It was everything to me as an adolescent. Although, I still watch today-I don't really recognize the modern day WWE. This was a special time. Great submission!

City and Local

Glad you liked it! My brother and I used to watch it on a Hell in a Cell dvd we got from a preplayed store as kids

Bobthekow

Should add Tally Time, I guess.

I love the build for this match. The Rock was feuding with Rikishi, Triple H was feuding with Steve Austin, and Kurt Angle was feuding with The Undertaker. So commissioner Mick Foley just said, “fuck it, throw them all in the box and let the kill each other”.

Ryan Redd

The Undertaker actually debuted the Rollin' theme at this show One small thing I like about this match is when Austin comes out and he acts like he's going into the cell only to turn and attack Kurt Angle When Tally said "Rikishi not going up here, right?" I said in my head "not only is he going up there, but he's going down too" but hey, I guess Tally knows how you felt when you picked Edge in the Elimination Chamber

They really sent Rikishi's big-ahh stinky-ahh off that cell the LONG WAY

NGL I rewatched a couple old matches Josh reacted to at like 1AM last night and this was actually the last one I rewatched before I went to bed! 😂

Jay T

I was just thinking about this match being a Tally Time submission the other day.
