2025-05-05 04:48:03 +0000 UTCThis is a great match and easily the best thing Rousey did in her WWE career. It kicked off her run in the best way possible and it only really started going downhill in October when she defended the Raw Women’s Title in the main event against Nikki Bella of the all women’s Evolution PPV over Becky vs Charlotte in a Last Woman Standing Match for the SmackDown Women’s Title. One match had about three weeks build and the other almost three months and the one with three months didn’t main event. Then the match with Charlotte happened at Survivor Series and fans started turning on Rousey from then on. Third commentator is Jonathan Coachman. He was an interviewer (most notably in segments with The Rock) and commentator on the weekend shows during the Attitude Era before becoming Eric Bischoff’s lackey in the early days of the Ruthless Aggression Era and occasionally wrestled. He then became a commentator on Raw for a while, became Vince’s assistant and then defacto Raw GM. He’d end up doing commentary on SmackDown in 2008 before leaving to work at ESPN. He returned in January 2018 as one of Raws commentator but was gone by September. He was alright, if not a bit obnoxious the first time around as a commentator on Raw, I actually liked him as a face on SmackDown with Cole but he was unbearably bad in 2018.
