2025-04-14 18:52:15 +0000 UTCThere's no part of me that believes that BJ completely changed the entire match on the fly and the other two guys in the ring just went with it. I think the coolest thing about wrestling is when the line between what's real and what's planned fiction starts to blur and we see the "unreality" of wrestling. This show has always kinda liked to lightly blur those lines, particularly with Bubba's heel outbursts, but this episode kicks it into a higher gear to create drama, and I fully believe that in the future you could see that spin into a storyline in the ring. I think we're seeing building blocks be laid out for people that the producers believe in, even if they're not going to "win" the show and get the NXT contract
