I love both of these guys, but the whole CWC was stacked with great talent. I highly recommend going through and watching all the matches (or maybe we'll band together and submit them)

It is where NXT was filmed until they added the current NXT arena to the Performance Center complex a few miles away. The last couple times I've gone by Full Sail, there has been a NXT trailer in their parking lot, so they still have some association.

2025-01-31 07:51:01 +0000 UTCA few stats about the Cruiserweight Classic Tournament: Of everyone that was in this tournament, only nine years ago, just five who were hired after it are still there: Akira Tozawa, Noam Dar, Cruz Del Toro (known as Raul Mendoza at the time), Giovanni Vinci (known as Fabian Aichner at the time) and Cedric Alexander. That’s five out of the thirteen that were hired and thirteen of the thirty two man field. One of the competitors, Lince Dorado has returned but his role is unknown. Ciampa, Gargano and a guy named Ho Ho Lun were already signed before being in the tournament.

Love Cedric and obviously Kota was phenomenal at this time

2025-01-30 17:50:51 +0000 UTCSome background on Cedric, around this time he recently left Ring of Honor after being a mainstay for awhile but never really got the opportunities I and some felt he deserved, and Maruo wasn't lying he legitimately lost 20lbs to be in the tournament. After he did get signed and was the face of WWEs crusierweight division 205 Live when it was active.

Last time he was on main roster tv was getting squashed by Bron Breaker in Bron's 3rd match after getting Called up He was actually on the main roster for YEARS.
