2025-01-14 18:32:41 +0000 UTCI think there was a match involving Dean Ambrose this one time where it was a falls count anywhere match and they wrestled all night and they cut to another match and after that match was over, they cut back and Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper were fighting in a car on the otherside of town or something like that. It was hilarious.

2025-01-13 17:12:36 +0000 UTCThis actually wasn’t an ECW branded event. They’d dropped the ECW from the One Night Stand name for 2007. I really miss stages like this when they would be creative. They stopped doing unique stages in 2014 after the Network launched. It was the same stage for the TV shows and PPVs. I always thought they should at least have had a set for PPVs that was different to the TV shows to set them apart. You see screenshots from PPVs in that time frame and unless you’re a nerd like me, you couldn’t say what year it was based off the stage. I guess Tally knows Umaga’s song from 2K24 right? That spinning slam Umaga did at the start of the match, there’s a clip where he does it to Rey and just absolutely destroys him. It’s awesome. I think Hornswoggle fell asleep when he was under the ring. That or he missed his cue. They have a monitor down there so whoever is under the ring can watch for their cue. Umaga getting hit in the face with the orange and white construction barrel just to shake it off and kick Jeff was lowkey hilarious. Stretcher Match is pretty simple, you beat your opponent up, put them on a stretcher and push them across a line at the top of the ramp. The Stretcher Match on this show was Batista vs Shawn Michaels. I think it’s a good gimmick match but there’s not really a whole hell of a lot you can do with it to make it unique. There were a few Hardcore matches during the Attitude Era that left the arena as well as a couple of different segments where people fought in locations adjacent to the arena but never to my knowledge, anything super goofy and silly.
