I still wouldn't rule out a John Cena character shift at some point in this year. I don't really want a heel Cena, but a Cena thats maybe tempted into acting more heelish with a style change and maybe a music change that just irritates the fans after WrestleMania while he's trying to chase title opportunities would be something I'd be excited to see. And then we can transition back to good ol John to close out the end of the year and send him out on a high note

2025-02-24 05:59:44 +0000 UTCIf Def Rebel changed Cena’s Theme to something like that, it wouldn’t piss us off it would fucking in Rage us, we would so be in raged we would most likely high jack each Raw and Smackdown telling WWE to fire Def Rebel 🤣 we probably wont care about the matches anymore we would only about hearing Cena’s Song. Randy Orton’s Theme Change made sense, because the Legend Killer he was starting in 2007 his Burn In My Light Song didnt really fit him anymore with this Legend Killer Character, and Jim Johnston the legend who made his theme songs made Voices.

Morrison lost the ECW Title to CM Punk after getting caught, Booker T quit WWE shortly after getting suspended and Mr Kennedy lost his position as Vince’s son in the Vince illegitimate son storyline. Kennedy also went on national TV after the Benoit incident and said he had never used steroids so he looked awfully stupid when his name was amongst those on Signature Pharmacy’s client list. Randy, Edge and Umaga wouldn’t be punished as Randy would win the WWE Title twice before the end of the year, Edge would win the World Title before the end of the year and Umaga would have a lengthy program with Triple H in the fall.

And this was when the crowd slowly started to become split on Cena as his character started to change. You can hear quiet Cena sucks chants in this match. Also, muscles definitely help with protecting from back bumps. LA Knight has never had a serious injury in his career due to always having a bigger physique.
