I appreciate your transparency and vulnerability in your answer to my question. Funny thing is, for myself, wrestling is what taught me that attitude. And 100% relate to being protective of that. There are times when friends of mine are negatively criticizing something wrestling, and I find myself trying to downplay their criticism and I do that everytime someone takes it too seriously because at the end of the day, it's just wrestling. To quote the great Simon Miller of whatculture wrestling, "it's the most important of the least important things"

Oh. Yes. One of the first questions is asking their favorite bands. Don’t skim! Put it on 1.5 speed and enjoy the ride!

I was wondering if it was due to something being brought up in the video. I was kinda skimming through it for the questions I was curious about, so now idk if I missed something 🥲

.

What do you mean, Mr. or Ms. period?

Big Ell

What was the context?

.

The Cena/Orton package is great.

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

Great video. Show these to Tally! Cena vs Orton Hell in a Cell 2009 video was done to Skillet’s “Monster” https://youtu.be/2RRyEb5aRjg?si=bx8sl6rwPSu58a8P The Raw theme song in 2019 was Skillet’s “Legendary” for a little while. https://youtu.be/EGdk9DLfS1E?si=EukAOGfgphodiJsg

I knew the hat look familiar, I’ve recently watch a channel called Jettro Jettro play The Walking Dead and it was an emotional rollercoaster. That game comes with so much anxiety but so much nostalgia.

Abs Ali

Thank you so much for this comment dude. Needs to be known that people weren't just stupid because it was the past lmao. Also accurate history is good history

In regards to gambling on wrestling in the past, although I’m not 100% sure, I would assume it was not a widespread thing. Despite the curtain not being lifted to the extent it is today and kayfabe being “stronger” back in the day, Pro Wrestling had known to be fake since the 1920s when newspapers would stop covering wrestling results in the sports section in the U.S. I’m sure there were people who believed it was real even well after that, but I don’t think the vast majority of people in the 70s and 80s truly thought what they were seeing was a legitimate fight. Interestingly though, Pro-Wrestling as we know it today started for carnies to make money. Traveling carnivals would have catch wrestlers fight people in the crowd and the audience would bet on who they thought would win. The people running it would occasionally put in a plant to beat the wrestler to make the audience think other people could beat him. So Pro-Wrestling basically began so people could rig gambling lol.

You understand.

Depression had you on a figure four submission, until you flipped over and reversed the pressure.
