If Carlito still had that old song we would still be see him spitting apples in peoples faces just like that theme says. I Spit In The Face Of People who don’t want to be Cool. Now in 2024 when was the last time he used that stupid Apple then just play with it

I think this is the second video you watched where Undertaker randomly appeared at the end of a match. This one and the one with CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy at Summerslam 2009.

I love when Randy tags in during the finishers to Big Show that he does the combat roll to cover the space between his teams corner and Show.

The coolest part of this for me was watching Randy Orton. It's been a bit since I went back and watched this era of Randy and it's so different from how Randy wrestles as the Viper. Even how he carries himself and his selling is drastically different. So cool to see. Also, this was just after my era of watching SmackDown pretty heavily so it was fun to try and recognize the different people who were coming out of the locker room at the end.

Or Triple H having three songs done by Motörhead.

Thats one of my fav wrestling music facts! I like it when wrestlers have the same artist on most of their biggest themes, like Jeff Hardy in TNA or Edge. It gives them a unique and consistent identity. Btw, I was referencing this meme lol: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FoZk-5AXsAMWnPy.jpg:large

That's not him doing the WELLLLLLLL. Since his 2006 theme it has been Joe Altier (at the time, the singer from the band Brand New Sin). The best part is, he and Big Show are friends, so when Show went to AEW, Joe did the "WELLLLLLLL" for his AEW music too.

NXT started doing Takeover WarGames annually, the night before survivor series, in 2017. Survivor Series has traditionally had at least one 5 v 5 elimination match every year since 1987, but in 2022 they changed Survivor Series to Survivor Series: WarGames to do the Bloodline wargames match instead of the regular elimination style match.

Charlie

Whats great about Big Show's theme is that you can easily picture him in the vocals booth like WEEEEEEELLLLL

Back then, WWE went all-in on the brand split, even initially planning to turn RAW or Smackdown into WCW. They had brand-exclusive PLEs and overall leaned into it so hard in terms of what commentators and authority figures would say that many kids legit believed RAW and Smackdown were separate companies under a WWE league. This is obviously incomprehensible to those who were older at that time. I vividly remember kids having WWE vs AEW style tribalist arguments and sometimes even refusing to watch the other show. The video games being called "Smackdown vs Raw" didn't help with this perception.

.

In a response on the Ricochet v Tyler Black post, he said they were planning on recording the winner this weekend, so it'll probably be released in the next couple days.

Adam Nelson

Yeah, the one I picked is short enough. Nigel did a self-produced documentary when he was on his retirement tour and that one was 2 hours. I thought Matt was asking whether it was the WWE one or the self-produced one.

Adam Nelson

The Nigel doc is only 47 minutes so it fits in the max time for submissions.

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

Hey josh when are u watching the survivour series poll match that won and is it just winner ur watching or top 2 to 3

Ryan Evans

I was going to do the timestamp there but I skipped back and saw them coming out the locker room and for whatever reason put the stamp there.

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

Fuck yeah! My submission! I had this show on DVD so I’ve got fond memories of this match in particular. I love the elimination tag matches and I’m shocked more people haven’t submitted others or Survivor Series matches in general.

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

Carlito beat John Cena to become US Champion on his debut match. He has held midcard titles, tag titles, but nvr world championships.

Izz002

Yes to both. The documentary Nigel produced was too long to be a Tally Tier pick. And looking at the thread, it seems like they watched the New Jack one today, so it's in the pipeline.

Adam Nelson

2 questions, is the New Jack thing the dark side of the ring documentary or a match, and is the Nigel documentary the one WWE created?

Matthew Harvey

War Games was a WCW staple then NXT brought it back in 2017 and the Main Roster has been doing it since 2022.

cmike5290 .

Survivor Series started doing War Games in 2022. You're right, NXT was doing it first in WWE. War Games is a concept that was in WCW. WWE brought it back for NXT in 2017, then Survivor Series later on.

Christopher Barnes

The Nigel documentary was before this on the list, but they said they said they'd be doing things a bit out of order depending on the amount of time available in each of their recording sessions. New Jack should be soon too though.

Adam Nelson

Those Tribal tattoos on Randy's arm was inspired by Goldberg's tattoos. Orton was a Goldberg fan in the 90s and got a tattoo that looked similar to Goldberg. This is one of my favorite Survivor Series stages. Always liked playing in this arena in Smackdown vs Raw 2007. I haven't seen this match in a long time. I forgot the announcers argued that much. You probably would love Bradshaw. JBL is a good heel, but when JBL was just Bradshaw in APA with the long black hair, he was a badass. HBK team is RAW, not Smackdown Carlito for the most part been a cowardly heel. He had a few runs as a face, but he's mostly been a heel. He has been a United States champion, Intercontinental champion & tag team champion. Randy & Undertaker had a good rivalry on 2005. Their first match was at WrestleMania 21. That was an interpromotional match though. Orton was on Raw and Undertaker was on Smackdown. After Randy Orton got drafted to Smackdown in June of 05, they had their second match at SummerSlam. The third match they had was on the 9/16 edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The fourth match was at No Mercy 2005 (a month later). The last match they had in 2005 was at the Armageddon PPV in a Hell in a Cell match in December of 2005.

Christopher Barnes

Apart of me wished that you started playing the match at the entrances so you could be suprised on who was in the match. But it's a small nitpick it doesn't really matter

Matthew Harvey

Just checked the tally tier list New Jack is up next can’t wait to see what yall think about him he was WILD😂This will mean more once you see it but right before he passed he had just settled down with his family and was doing good for himself.
