2024-10-28 04:45:37 +0000 UTCOn the whole "Triple H has long matches that depending on the wrestler he's fighting either sucks or is tolerable" It's true lol HHH had looong matches and they were rarely good His hero was Flair who was known as a 60 minute wrestler in the 70/80s/90s No one could pace himself like he could Triple H wanted to be that... problem is he not Ric flair lol They were really bad because Triple H should never go more than 20 minutes or he gets really weird at making up for time with heat spots This isn't even his worst offense in that regard as this match is actually good for the most part Long explanation I know but Context matters in these times

So it would still not feel good to get hit with but it's not going to tear them to shreds either. At least that's how AEW has said they do it. It might be different for other companys

This was right around the time I started watching wrestling and is one of the first feuds I remember really keeping my attention. In keyfabe there are not a whole lot of people who hate each other more than Triple H and Stone Cold did. They did such a good job of making child me think they wanted to legitimately kill each other
