So Patreon has decided they need to follow local tax laws, and therefore starting July 1st, there will be a tax on pledges that provide tangible benefits (physical and digital goods). The exact tax rate changes based on where you live, but it's between 5% and 15% in most cases.
This will likely make my pledge tiers slightly more expensive, since I give tangible benefits at each tier. I don't plan on changing this to avoid this tax. I like giving something tangible back to my patrons, and I like how each tier has a greater value with the more content I create. It's unfortunate that this makes it more expensive for folks to give, especially on top of Patreon's cut, credit card fees, etc. If folks feel they need to reduce or cancel their pledge because of this tax, I completely understand.

In... uh, other news I guess my submission for the Game and a Curry anthology was not accepted, so I'll be polishing that up and putting it up on my itch.io store this month. It'll be $5 and folks giving at that tier and above will get a download link for the game as usual.
I'm working on my submission for the Trophy Gold contest for the next few days, and I'm working on updates for Neon Black that I'm really excited about.
