2024-09-30 10:15:52 +0000 UTCAll I remember about this is Rousey storming out and costing one of them the match. TLC was a PLE up until 2020 before they’d discontinue it. In 2021 they didn’t have it because 2022 started off with WWE Day 1 and 2023 was also supposed to start with WWE Day 1 but it ended up cancelled. Thus for the last three years there’s been no December PLE.. Before that they had had an event in December every year since 1995. Sheamus and Daniel Bryan won their first World Titles at TLC while Drew McIntyre won his first singles title at a TLC as well. The WWE and World Heavyweight Titles were also unified at TLC in 2013. Also the female voice in the promo was Paige, aka Saraya in AEW.

2024-09-29 13:38:33 +0000 UTCI only watched PLEs at the time but always enjoyed them, as the wrestling itself wasn’t the problem. It’s a shame Asuka never became an A+ main eventer on the main roster, though her current role is still solid.

(Also this is her first world title win in the Main Roster so it's safe to say this was one of my personal favorite moments ever to see her finally win the big one) And yeah here's to hoping the ppl from the patreon hook you up with some more Asuka stuff in the future!
