Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. Super Dragon & Excalibur - CZW Cage of Death 6 Dual Dimension 12-11-2004

Some say it was a fire set by the cartel. Others say it was a flood that swept through the village. All that everyone can agree upon is that once all the orphans had been saved, El Generico disappeared ...they never found a body.

2024-09-08 20:45:23 +0000 UTCInteresting to see CZW on here. For context, CZW was like ECW with the limiters taken off. It has some of the most entertaining technical and high-flying spectacles of their era and also has some of the most violent deathmatches I have ever watched, at least on the American scene. CZW still technically exists but it is a shell of what it used to be. Most of that audience has gone to places like Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). I think it would be fun to see you look more into some of that stuff but I would suggest caution because it pushes a lot of boundaries in terms of how violent and bloody it can be.

2024-09-07 21:31:38 +0000 UTCThat’s also fair enough. My genuine apologies for causing any annoyance. I should have read the room more, especially since it was such an early comment. I will think more about how, when and what I comment in the future. Apologies again.

2024-09-07 19:47:12 +0000 UTCFair enough. I knew someone would make the joke, it's just that 4 hours after the post, every comment was "correcting" Josh saying that Generico was Sami.

2024-09-07 19:46:12 +0000 UTCI did feel that way after posting. I do feel bad in retrospect. I can delete the message but I think at this point it’s probably clear it’s just a big meme

2024-09-07 19:26:30 +0000 UTCYou do realize that perpetuating this out of control meme is likely to confuse new viewers, right? I get it when everyone is in on the joke, but Josh and Tally are just getting into this era of their careers.

2024-09-07 19:24:48 +0000 UTCRIP El Generico, I hear KO will never forgive the cartel for what they did to his friend.

2024-09-07 16:16:44 +0000 UTC- yes, there were two rings because there was a Wargames like match on the same show. - You might not have recognized Bryce Remsburg from AEW because he is bald now. He was the referee in multiple of your patreon videos, including Invisible Man vs Invisible Stan for example.

2024-09-07 15:55:22 +0000 UTCSad El Generico never got signed, but he did teach Sami Zayn everything he knew

2024-09-07 15:14:40 +0000 UTCKevin Steen went on to achieve great success in WWE but unfortunately El Generico never got signed. From what I understand he retired and returned back to Mexico to work at an orphanage.

2024-09-07 15:13:04 +0000 UTCI mean, you’re half true. It is unmistakable that Kevin Steen went on to become Kevin Owens. But you’ll soon find out that El Generico is an entirely different (similarly amazing wrestler) person to Sami Zayn. I understand you are still relatively new wrestling fans so I don’t begrudge you for so, but try and be respectful as El Generico may very well be dead, as there was a rumour he died in a fire of the orphanage he ran after retiring from wrestling. But he was able to save the orphans if that legend is a true, so he was a true hero, and Sami has said that Generico was someone he took great inspiration from, so in some way, his legacy lives on. Side note: So emotional when Sami beat Gunther at WrestleMania with the Brain Buster in tribute. 💚
