2024-08-26 21:17:05 +0000 UTCAnother thing is except for la knight and jey uso, the catchphrases at the beginning of the songs since def rebel aren’t said with enthusiasm and don’t hype me up as much when followed by a generic music track that sounds like it was put together at the last minute

2024-08-26 20:00:17 +0000 UTCI think the difference between themes is that unless it’s a main eventer, def rebel themes use stuff that sounds like generic stock music that mostly sounds the same with something in the beginning instead of when Jim Johnston would make music based on the characters personality, the undertaker had slow and creepy music that fit for example, Steve Austin had that iconic theme that really fit his personality and felt like he meant business, even jobbers like heath Slater and Zack Ryder had music that you could tell what their character was like and their presentation, like they had actual personality in the themes that was uniquely designed for each wrestler, meanwhile most def rebel themes sound the same to me and most have no lyrics or don’t give off that wrestler’s vibe, the lack of clips in titantrons at live events aren’t helping either

It made my way home more pleasant :) What I appreciate so much about you guys is that you seem like really kind and cool people, with whom you could talk about wrestling for hours like with your best buddies. If you feel overwhelmed by the amount of matches to watch, no one will be offended by the delay, or if you take a break for a while. The most important thing is that you enjoy it :D But I'll reassure you: considering that Patreon has been around since May and that we've already watched a lot of legendary matches. At this rate of watching, I'd give it a year at most and the number of submissions should decrease. This source is huge, but it's not endless. So while we'd love to see Tally react to previous matches, there's no need to rush too much :) Take care!

2024-08-26 17:53:12 +0000 UTCUnfortunately in the past wwe don't have the best record with treating their cruiserweight championships at various times the best. By that I mean most cruisers not named rey mysterio would Job out pretty quickly or easily to anyone else higher on the card, and was always treat at a lower card attraction. So a CW main event wouldn't happen, that said there were attempts in early smackdown to make Shane helms, chavo Guerrero, Matt hardy and rey mysterio slightly more important while fighting for the CW championship. And there have been some great cruiserweight matches in wwe over the years too, they had their own show at one point called 205 live which was filmed pre smackdown or raw. Also you might notice at some point on the patreon that zack sabre has moved to the heavyweight division like ospreay before him. Eddie Guerrero was a cruiser, ended up as basically a heavyweight, even rey challenged for the 'world heavyweight championship ' they just changed it to the 'world championship ' for that while lol. Anyway I'm ranting now. I assume more cruiser matches will be submitted

A few of us are already planning to send some of the big recent New Japan matches and you’ve already seen guys like Zack Sabre Jr who may be in this years main event.

A new deal for AEW and WB is all but confirmed, which will put AEW's archive onto MAX (possibly their PPVs too). That should help you catch up on AEW for any matches/events you decide to watch, if you don't become a regular viewer.
