2024-08-23 09:29:09 +0000 UTCSince a kid I always liked luchadores like Rey and Sin Cara so even though I love old school wrestling and everything that comes with that I really like Andrade, Dragon Lee, The Lucha Bros, Vikingo, etc because it works. They’re from Mexico and that style of wrestling is what wrestling is in Mexico and these guys are athletic as hell. Vikingo got hurt a while back but I think he might be coming back soon I’m not sure on that. With this match is there a lot of thigh slapping and waiting from Kenny? Yes but Vikingo can do things that nobody else can do and I can really appreciate that. An added bonus to this I don’t like Omega so I get to watch him being landed on multiple times by a guy who really knows how to land on someone? Sign me up 😂😂

It's been the problem with AEW, they have this big new signing and they get showcased for couple months and then they just vanishes into a puff smoke.

2024-08-22 22:41:56 +0000 UTCThe 630 onto Kenny while he’s on the table breaks my mind. Same with the Ranna he does on Kenny when he springboards off the corner. It’s a Truly Great Showcase. Haven’t had the chance to watch any other Vikingo matches but this one was able to really show him off well.

2024-08-22 22:41:06 +0000 UTCWelcome to AEW and Welcome to Kenny Omega. Kenny has the amazing ability to make it look like he's landed on his head but in reality he's actually fine lol. This match might divide opinions due to the whole "no story" debate but I don't think there's any issues with having both within a show. This was just a showcase match on TV. Fun, entertaining, a spectacle. I've always believed that the perfect show has all flavours of wrestling. It might not be for everyone but it can mean each match brings something different to the table. You could have a fun comedy style match to make you laugh, a brutal heavy hitting match that will make you gasp, a high flying Lucha match to wow you, a long term story driven match to keep you captivated. Everything, for everyone. Going by your reaction to this, you guys would probably like Rey Fenix. (Youl prob get to see him when him and his bro go to WWE sometime this year)
