Batista left WWE the night after this match on Raw, which is when and why in part Seth turned heel. Batista was going off to promote Guardians of the Galaxy that came out in the summer and was supposed to return after the film had come out. But Triple H and Stephanie laughed at Batista and said the film wouldn’t do well and he’d come crawling back. But then it did do well, extremely well, and he didn’t come back because he felt slighted. Batista would return in 2018 for an Evolution reunion before having his final feud and match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35 before officially retiring. He was supposed to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020; but COVID happened, so he ended up being removed from the class when they did the inductions in 2021 for that year and 2020s class. Batista has still yet to go in. I believe he removed himself because he wanted to go in in front of fans and they’ve just not been able to come to terms on anything since. Yes the guy who keeps poking holes in everything Cole says is JBL.

He found a loophole since they were able to copyright Brandi Rhodes as his wife's performing name. They were introduced as "Cody and Brandi Rhodes". Eventually (when AEW was getting started), they worked out a deal to let him use the Rhodes name.

For example if Triple H debuted as Paul Levesque most likely he would be just a manager for the rest of his career. Only a few superstars made sense with there real name like John Cena, Randy Orton etc
