There’s not really anything for me to watch with MJF now. As soon as he got back they messed this story up by reversing the roles and acting like that’s how it was the whole time. The Undisputed Era are portrayed as nobodies and it’s consisted of Adam Cole yelling at a titantron because MJF is filming the Happy Gilmore movie.

2024-11-11 17:43:59 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone commented this yet, but MJF hesitating to do the high flying spots is because highflying moves are traditionally babyface moves. A heel would not do high risk moves to please the audience. Their whole tag team run had MJF do moves he would normally not do and the fans going crazy for it to the point he got a dive you see a dozen people per show do completely over just because HE did it.

It could be easy to take for granted since AEW was around when you started watching - but when AEW launched in 2019, it was unthinkable that another wrestling company would ever get anything close to this. I think the closest anyone ever got in America would've been TNA with about 7k in 2013 after being around for about 10 years

Your valid criticism of the guy pushing the platform MJF was on that wasn’t dressed up is precisely the sort of shoddiness AEW has that WWE doesn’t.

I randomly turned on AEW and saw this guy just being a complete dickhead in a steel cage match and I loved it. From then on when I turned on AEW seeing MJF was an event. I was genuinely hyped as hell when Daniel Bryan challenged him to an Iron Man match and that match delivered. To me thats one of the best matches Ive seen in AEW so far. After this though he started doing this babyface turn that only the AEW diehards wanted. He started doing these cringy as hell "comedy" videos with Adam Cole and a few other guys that were just dumb. He would come out to the ring and talk about his emotions, his anxiety, his need to open up, his ADHD, etc. It was a total 360 turn from what I originally got invested in and I hated it. This wasn't the guy I had just gotten so invested in a year ago now this dastardly heel is crying in the ring and talking to us like we are his therapist. The ending of this match started my decline in interest in AEW. And Im just gonna be the one to say it Adam Cole needs to drink milkshakes, get a new diet plan with a lot of meat in it, something because his physique is akin to a prisoner of war his wife Britt Baker has bigger arms then he does.

It's a spot Eddie used to do in some of his matches and I will never not laugh at it. Also the ref in this match is the ref form Invisible man vs Invisible Stan

You are correct All In is this month on the 25th keep in mind though since it's in London it will start earlier than a normal PPV it always throws me off starting so early
