For those who don’t know. Gargano is called Johnny Wrestling because it’s a play on Johnny Manziel, who played for Cleveland (the Browns), who was known as Johnny Football.

Also Josh what do you think about the lead commentator from these NXT matches you’ve seen? The guys name is Mauro Ranallo and I think he was absolutely awful. But everyone else loved him. There’s one more match between Cole and Gargano at Takeover Toronto II. It’s another two out of three falls match but each fall has a stipulation. The final stipulation is a unique one that’s rarely been done before.

2024-07-30 18:16:23 +0000 UTCThis one just reminds me of the darkest times for me as a WWE fan. If it wasn’t for Black & Gold NXT I would have definitely stopped watching wrestling. Compared to the main roster garbage at the time, NXT always delivered. In 2018-2019 I even stopped following Raw and Smackdown. NXT was the exception and I’m grateful for it. And this instant classic is one of the examples why I loved it so much! HHH thank you man!
