Nice to have some Joshi from Josh, lol. Yeah, I’ve definitely watched Japanese matches where the crowd starts quiet but gets raucous by the end, cheering and chanting. Was there still a Covid restriction on cheering here in 2023? Seems doubtful but you never know. PS Mayu’s theme is fire!

Cool to see you watch some of these greatest joshi wrestling matches of the modern time. There are a lot of wonderful matches in Stardom that rock in the same vein. They are still having some of the MOTYC, especially their tag team matches at PPVs are phenomenal, or maybe their crossover matches with Sendai, I heard they had a five star tag match recently with a mixture of both companies Also the production value is really great, at the end of the year they will have some stadium shows, after a show with NJPW together called History X-over probably featureing intergender/mixed tag matches which are very rare for them and multiple big shows at the turn of the year cooperating not just with NJPW, but also CMLL, AEW and ROH. I'd wish I could travel to these shows, probably the biggest wrestling week for puro of the year.

Stardom has 3 refs and at the start of their matches after the ring announcer announcer announces the wrestlers they'll also announce who the ref is and the crowd always yells the ref's name back in response. They respect the refs as much as the wrestlers over there it's awesome.

The IWGP Women's Championship is from NJPW however, a traditionally mens-only company until a couple years ago when they introduced this title and a talent exchange with Stardom.
