Watch the rumble that year and see how the crowd loses their minds when number 30 came out and Bryan wasn't even in it. So they did this as a way to insert him in it. They may say it was the plan all along in hindsight but if you watch it was pretty clearly a Cody Rock situation but with Batista.

2024-07-10 17:52:38 +0000 UTCNow warning I am going to tell you why Bryan left WAIT WAIT before you click off you are not going to be told anything that ruins your experience in the yes movement. Him leaving doesn’t take place for another 7 years and his last match takes place on a SmackDown against Roman and you’re probably not going to be recommended this match, it was a great match though. Daniel Bryan left in 2021 and it was just a thing of Bryan wanting to spend more time with his family and he had basically accomplished everything there was to accomplish, his contract had expired. It was more of a case of trying something new without a lot of restrictions, no backstage heat or anything like CM Punk. Kind of like Edge leaving. A couple of other things, the John Cena match took place in August in 2013, whereas this match took place in April of 2014. It took a lot of pleading to get to here 😂. Also Triple H would continue to wrestle a decent amount after this wrestling at Wrestlemania 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and other PPVs. His last PPV match was against Randy Orton in 2019.

I thought I only had lessons in the afternoon but now I can’t remember what my schedule that day was because I thought I remembered going to school after watching the Monster video package and having come home, watched Lesnar end The Streak and then gone back to school and passed my cousin and telling him “Undertaker lost at WrestleMania.” You looked away at one of my favourite entrance bits during Triple H’s, when all the lights shoot down onto him as he does the water spray.
