Hellhound Heat alpha 5.1

A bit of context. I tried to put the game in a format that fits html5 and reorganized it to have the sponsor and disclaimer in front, as one must have. But then, HH just doesn't want to work in html5 format (it's hilariously broken). So take this version of hellhoundheat. It's basically alpha 5, but I unlocked the merchant so you can actually upgrade your character.

Also, I discovered the joy of .zip archives games! Open the zip and run the .exe and voilΓ ! No need to install the game anymore :)

oh boy uhh.... not really no. There is not even a shadow of a gallery coded for that alpha. I'll try to figure out something in the coming weeks

I’m unable to really play the game since I don’t have a computer, but I’d love to be able to see all the animated h-scenes. Anyway I can do that?

Thanks a lot V for your honest comments ^^ There is indeed a LOT of work to do and redo in HH. This was not an update but rather unlocking some content that was already there but inaccessible before we shelve it (until we find a 2nd artist to work on it ). And yes, coyote time, 100%

Hopefully, I'm not sounding too whiny or saying you're doing bad. I do a bit of game dev in my free time (nothing as legit as these projects!) so I know that things like this are hard. I'm just hoping that this might be constructive criticism 😊 I really want to like the game, but every time I download a new update I'm just not able to enjoy the mechanics

I really hate to say this, but I just can't seem to get to where I enjoy the gameplay in HH. Being locked in place when attacking is kind of frustrating, and I'm constantly killing enemies before I can "mount" them. The platforming is also not fun for me. I regularly end up jumping just late enough that my first jump is my air jump, and I don't have it to make a second jump and get where I'm going. This could be solved by adding some coyote time (which is a real term in games). The inertia is also really high which makes jumps hard to land precisely.
