Dimmed Inactive Rentals v1.0 Official
Added 2023-12-12 17:58:58 +0000 UTCThis new mod properly dims rental units when they aren't currently being played, in line with how City Living apartments behave. This mod also properly handles going into build mode, by undimming the rooms while building and re-dimming when you go back to live mode.
Install Instructions
⚠ FOLLOW IT WORD FOR WORD. ⚠
1. Delete any existing copies you have for Dimmed Inactive Rentals.
2. DONT use any zip extract options. Instead, OPEN the "TwistedMexi's Dimmed Inactive Rentals v1.0 Official " zip by clicking it and drag the "Tmex-DimmedInactiveRentals" script inside to your mods folder. Do not place more than 1 subfolder deep.
3. Make sure 👉Script👈 Mods are enabled in gameplay options -> "Other". Restart if it wasn't.

yes IK I agree and I never use the other way because I want control over where my files are going. I wasn't trying to say you were wrong :) I meant overall you are adding the files. I was only talking about extracting vs drag and drop. if that makes sense.

2023-12-15 20:12:28 +0000 UTCYou're still extracting it when you do the steps I describe, but this way avoids players hitting "extract to folder name" which causes the actual mod to be too deep for the game to read properly.
