Better Exceptions - Real-Time Exception Alerts Release Candidate
Added 2019-04-24 17:35:29 +0000 UTCBetter Exceptions expands on the LastException functionality, providing in game alerts the moment an exception occurs.
This will help players identify what in-game event actually caused an error. It will also show players the most relevant parts of the error to assist with identifying the actual issue.
In addition, clicking OK on the alert will provide you with a full report in addition to the raw LastException file.
The report provides information such as what mods were involved in the exception, all installed script mods at the time, game version, recommended actions, and more.
Due to the large variety of LastExceptions, I expect this mod will improve with time as I receive feedback from everyone who uses it.
Between now and official release I'll be adding a few more features such as a toggle command, for instances where a game bug is causing exceptions and we have to wait until a patch comes out.

How to install:
This is a script mod so make sure script mods are enabled in your game options.
Download the .ts4script file directly to your mods folder. Do not open or unzip.

2019-04-27 19:45:19 +0000 UTCNo, package files are for CC (Content like CAS items, objects, etc) ts4script is what script mods use (things that run with the game engine) You should have tmex-betterexceptions.ts4script in your Mods folder. Don't open or unzip it, just save it directly to your mods folder.
