QUEST PACK 12: Hilltop Hold

On the highest point of Dryfoot Hill, next door to the Church of Hemel, there is a walled community from which Mayor Twindle and his council rule over the town below. Visit the hold and learn about the functionaries that live there, what intrigue happens between them and who’s really in charge…

With Quest Pack 12 comes our biggest buildable project yet! Hilltop Hold comes with a complete wall, several entrances, guard towers and houses representing each of the city officials that live there. The model is based on a 1-inch ground plan that can function as a battle grid, and the buildings of Hilltop Hold can also be used individually, or with other 1-inch grid bases to create a variety of urban scenes!

We have also included an immersive way to introduce the personalities that make up the Dryfoot City Council to players, through articles published by local news outlets such as The Dryfoot Observer, The Hilltop Herald, The Boggin Bugle and SWAMP SECRETS. 

Quest Pack 12 contains:

• A print-and-build pack for Hilltop Hold, including: 5 guard towers, 6 buildings, 4 gates, a 6-sheet ground plan built on a 1-inch grid, and walls all around the property.
• A 4-page guide to Hilltop Hold, describing the various buildings, what they’re used for and who lives there.
• 'Paper Trail' DM handouts that provide exposition on the various Councillors and the Mayor in the form of newspaper articles.
• NPC cards for two Councillors: Kayleem Asheel, a magical half-elf from Silver Spires, and Lord Redding, a boisterous knight from Lionsgate.
• 1 sheet of Paper Minis, featuring councillors Kayleem and Redding, as well as Mayor Twindle.

In this Quest Pack we've introduced a number of additional movers-and-shakers that have some command over what goes on in Dryfoot Hill. Next month, we will find out what happens when these people have to deal with the discovery that their town was built on the back of a ginormous turtle god!
