Beretta 92 Evolution

In this video we talk about the Beretta 92 series of pistols, which started as the WW2 P38 and now incorporates an entire line of pistols from carry guns, to military, to performance models dedicated to competition shooting.

I'm far too poor for an optic mounted pistol. I have my first gen SW M&P and that's what I got. Works great for me. But I've shot friend's Berettas before and they are Lazer pointer accurate and smooth. Wish I did buy one but I didnt.

2:55 I do not agree at all, as long as it's the "decocker only" version.

I don't know about the Italians, but I sure like the look of the 4.9" barrel as compared to the 4.7" one. I have several 92 series guns that came from the factory with 4.7" barrels that I replaced with 4.9" ones. The Centurion and Compact look fine with the flush barrel, but the full size 92 just needs that 4.9 IMO. It is a sickness...

I ended up pulling the optic off my 92x Performance as well, but I love it for irons. I run an LTT M9A4 with an EPS on it for optic; I got it for incredibly cheap from a guy who did unfortunate things to the grip bushings, but it was very reasonable to fix.

My favorite unconfirmed rumor about the 92 is the designers made barrel extend past the slide specifically because they thought it looked nicer. I believe it to be 100% true because that's just the most Italian thing to do.

Just as I bought a 92.

Glad to see Russell join the berettapilled like the rest of us.
