I had no idea what that was and just kind of went with it. Turns out it was a super deep interesting hole to fall into! I had no idea that so much went into how the Coast Guard searches for people.
As a Patron, I'd like to know what kinds of things you'd like to know about the Coast Guard. I believe if I asked them they'd be willing to talk to me about certain topics.

We all know the car coming from the right at a 4-way stop has the right of way. That's because they would see the GREEN light on the car to their left at the 4-way stop. The car on the left would see RED on the car to their right. GREEN = go... RED = stop Change CAR to BOAT, and there's the answer. So, GREEN is right.... RED is left. Cool?
