Patron Extra Content - Thunderbirds

Hey!

I get called "Dustin" a lot - and I want to introduce you to an actual Dustin. My friend Dustin Timbrook is a wonderful artist - you've seen his hands at work in the title drawing for the sub series.  I commissioned him to make some special Patron-only artwork as a way to show my appreciation for your support!! Dustin has a couple phone backgrounds based on some SED videos and I wanted to share them with you in case they make you smile. Feel free to use them on your own background. I've got the painting of Flack from the Thunderbirds on my phone as the lock screen at the moment. Also, I've attached some still shots from the day I visited the Thunderbirds down in Mississippi. So grateful for your support!

Regards,

Destin

This one is most pleased to see additional content. She will review it more later. Know that your signed baseball holds a place of pride on my shelf of most treasured belongings. Right next to my replica of Ash's hat and my full-sized four-star Dragonball.

LOL the photo looking at the whole plane head on, it looks like the pilot was raptured with the gathering of clothing! LOL

Bill Bonnett

Fantastic, thanks. Love the turtles and the detail photos of stuff people do not usually pay attention to on an aircraft.

Matisse Enzer

Super, thanks for sharing! You upside down. w(°o°)w

They put your name on the JET!!!!!!! Oh my!!!!!!!! So jealous, so jealous.

Darrel Crane

That's one hell of a heroic chin. The only thing missing is a curl in the middle of his forehead. (I wouldn't even like to ask if he wears his underpants on the outside) Heroes all. Yourself included, just for going up and taking us along.

Feel free to print them for personal use!

Smarter Every Day

I'd love to be able to print some of these for personal use in my home. Respecting that it's your commissioned work and respecting the artist as well (I don't know what your agreement is) I'd gladly pay to be able to print 2 or 3 pics!

Thanks for the pics, Destin! I saw the Thunderbirds a lot growing up as an Air Force brat in the '60s and '70s, I saw them practicing in our "back yard" at FE Warren AFB. One of the pilots flew his F-16 under the telephone lines. I can't wait to see the video.

Bruce Grembowski

Thanks Dustin and Destin. The things you do matter.

rocketFarmer

That's some great artwork and great pictures. I'm glad you get to have these experiences and bring us along.

"Join me, Luke, and feel the power of the Dark Side. It is your DUSTINY!"

These are great! Thank you 😊

Artwork and photos are super cool. Thanks for sharing those. I also received my Trash Pandas / Smarter Everyday baseball, thanks for sending those out to supporters, brilliant idea!

Has Dustin considered illustrating children's books? Those are fantastic and full of life!

Destin, loved your comments about keeping a humble attitude regarding this experience. I could totally relate to you in thinking pulling 9G+ wouldn't be a problem, but after watching this I'm not sure I would've been able to hang as long as you. Great video. Really enjoyed it.

Nice work πŸ‘

Man those are some beutifull planes

Hey, any chance you can link our reupload the vortex rings pictures, I can't find them anywhere!

Alex Civitello

Thanks, keep up the great work, Destin!

I always forget you're a Bama fan. Roll tide brother!

Mitch Walker

Wait... It's not Desty?

The opposite should be asked. I Googled it: USA Thunderbirds founded in 1953 - first episode of Thunderbirds in 1965

Amazing, thaks for this, love the artwork.

Housane

Will do!

Smarter Every Day

Tell Dustin thanks for the new wallpaper!

Destin, can you tell me why there is a flight group in the US military named after a British tv show?

James Heuberger

Thunderbirds are go!

James Heuberger

When I first read 'Thunderbirds' in this post, my mind was registering it as 'ThunderCats'(animated TV show). Luckily this post does not disappoint regardless of the change in expectation. Thanks!

That airplane is just something else....keep up the good work D!

Thanks, Destin.

A most unique gift.

Thanks!!!!!!

Thanks Dustin!

gosiemople

I approve of all things made by Dustin's or Destin's :)

Hope no one forgot the flight plan papers in the tail! "What's that smell"? "Adrenaline"! "No really what's that burning smell...Uhhh?"

As someone named Marlo Gonzales, I feel your pain.

Please send my thanks to Dustin Timbrook! Those are some wonderful water paintings. The cherry on top of just watching Perseverance landing on Mars.
