Sorry, I'm a bit late for the party, but if you you're still looking for help I've been using Matlab for a while in school for Control Engineering during my undergrad, and now for Astro Engineering. I'm pretty experienced with the simulink plugin if that happens to be what you're looking for!

I'm happy to help! I used Matlab in school as a mechanical engineer, then for 4 years at aerospace company, then for 4 years in grad school for electrical engineering. Let me know -- I like teaching and helping folks!! :)

and even did a course on 3D graphics using MATLAB! (final project was coding a 3D version of wall breaker, complete with several camera options and dynamic lighting)

Seems like you have plenty of help already! For what it's worth, I'm a undergraduate mechanical/design engineer with 2+ years of MATLAB experience. Again, like people have mentioned, MATLAB is vast, so it's highly likely I may not have covered some of the stuff you are doing. I'm UK-based if that helps with timings. I have to create a 3D surface based on several multidimensional equations. THEN I have to plot it on a log-log plot. He gave us some code to start with but if you're trying to understand simple things like how to plot... well... you understand.

I'm in the same boat as the others here. I have a lot of MATLAB experience but it might not necessarily be in the parts you need. I will be available tonight starting at 4:30pm (PST)

MATLAB was the sole code/calculating program I used in college and I feel confident with it, but like above there's so much you can use it for it kinda depends on what you need.

Im sort of busy tonight, but I will be more than willing to help if nobody else is available. The other people are right. If it's general Matlab code, it should be fairly straightforward. But if it's use of a specific library, it may be more of a challenge to help with.
