This is why I love and support you. Keep it up my friend! :-)

Eric Kennedy

Unfortunately, I think you're preaching to the choir here, Destin. BUT Here's hoping your videos continue to get views, and exposure, especially THIS series.

Cousin Vinnie

Umm.... Didn't Trump coin the term "fake news" to use against people who said things he didn't like (true or otherwise)? Credit where it's due. This should be researched. Where did "fake news" actually come from?

Cousin Vinnie

The example where they have the snow should be relatively easy to discard in some ways if you use like Gaussian blurs and stuff like that is about the only comment I have about the video. Blurring is very common technique to do matching in computer vision.

This is why I subscribe and support. You actually take the time to go and visit the problems directly at the source instead of searching all over the internet and grabbing a bunch of (probably doctored) images and cramming them all as tight as you can it a video where you sit in front of a green screen and display said images while monologging about them. Also, you do it from the perspective of an engineer, not a journalist. This is how media and news should be, directly from the source and from a person with knowledge in the field. Thank you for trying to make the world a better place while perfectly juggling your personal and professional life.

Especially with your previous video of what you do for a day job and your interview with the General providing backdrop, this is one of your Best videos yet. I can't wait for the rest of the series. This video struck a very deep nerve in my head... Like a mental viking's ax right through the left/right sides of the brain. You have made me question my life choices down to the core, Thanks.... (It's not a bad thing lol) -Clif the Welder (that maybe should have been/become a programmer...)

Clifton Ballad

Definitely the most important video series you've made. Thank you for taking on such a difficult topic.

Andrew Young

This is fantastic, Destin. Upping my support tier.

Phil Moyer

I LOVE this! Great idea.

Thank you so much for working on this series Destin! This is incredibly valuable work you're doing here. It is scary, it is difficult and it is happening all over the world. But we must fight it. We must promote compassion, empathy and critical thinking. That is, I believe, the only way to fight this. And to all engineers losing sleep over these issues, I am sorry!

João Gouveia

Thank you, Destin! I will add this series to a tutorial on information literacy that I am putting together for my grandson (12 yrs). Yeah, I know how to make a kid happy on summer break!
