Every other profession podcast I listen to have people that are capable of doing it.... Matt and Destin are fully capable of doing it. You can get high quality compression at 0.5 MB per minute, rather than 2 MB per marinute. Most people are also prone to simply stop listening to a podcast rather than upgrade a device phone (as you suggested "upgrade your storage") or go through gymnastics of downloading to a separate device and managing the compression by myself.

2017-03-15 16:42:33 +0000 UTCI'd rather have a large, high quality download than a crappy recording that sounds like it was played with a blown speaker. If file size is an issue, compress it yourself or upgrade your storage.
2017-03-15 16:02:59 +0000 UTCHey guys, you've gotta do some better compression on those audio files. 120MB is kinda huge. Check out some other popular podcasts (like This American Life) for some acceptable download sizes.
