I've been working on a video for quite a while now about the rolling shutter effect and why it makes propeller blades look funny. It's going to be a great video and I thought you'd like to see this image I captured with my phone in Colorado Springs last week. SSsssshhh! Don't tell anyone!

Should get the Sony a9 iii, that will have a global shutter sensor eliminating any shutter sync issues that have plagued shutter reliant cameras of the past haha.

2015-12-07 06:34:36 +0000 UTCIt's a pretty interesting issue with digital image capture devices. When the first digital cinema cameras started to come out, there were a huge number of issues with this in feature films. You can also see it if your quite close to a train going by at speed.
