A walk in the jungle with my daughter

I was asked to speak at a conference in Hawaii for Kamehameha schools.  I learned that it's the #1 trust for education in the US.  They flew me over and also allowed me to bring my wife and daughters.  I met Alan, who is a Patron while at the conference!  I worked really hard at not doing anything while I was here.  We took a walk in a jungle botanical gardens.  I thought you'd enjoy a few photos. We're staying at a bed and breakfast that doubles as a small farm.  My daughter has enjoyed feeding the ducks, chickens, and fish in the morning with Lucy the goat and the B&B owner, Teresa.  I'm not using Patreon funds for this trip, but I like to keep you guys informed on what's going on in my life since you're such a HUGE part of it.  Thank you again for allowing me to take off from work with confidence.

Regards,

Destin

It looks gorgeous down there. That palm tree shot too. Thank for sharing and it sounds like a well deserved vacation. Doing nothing for awhile is nice.

Great points. I've passed them along to the Patreon Team. They're on it.

yeah, that has to be the most ridiculous feature (or non-feature) of the site. lovely photos, though! (especially your teeny tiny one, who was in the CR2 file that we could thankfully convert. ) :-D

Really lovely, thank you for sharing!

Just took my girlfriend there back in May, to the same botanical garden! I used to live on the islands when i was in the Navy. Glad you got to experience a little bit paradise!

Great suggestion for the Patron site

Random thought...why doesn't Patreon let me browse the photos you upload? Why do I have to download them locally? I'd much prefer to view them in the browser and have the cache cleaned up automatically rather than manage most of these individually.
