I was ranting to a friend about how I hate doing ropes and hoses cause my current method involves multiple armatures and a geometry node group I made and a lot of the times I end up just hand animating the movement anyways. He asked me why I wasn't using hooks and I asked him what the fuck a hook was. After a short 5 minute YouTube tutorial, now instead of a couple hours of effort to add a hose to a scene, it's thirty seconds. It took me less than 5 minutes to make the above scene (not including render times) Thanks bud ;)
