At https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1311392?hl=en (subsection "Creator responsibility") it says: "If any of your channels have been demonetized or terminated, you should not create new (or use existing) channels to get around these restrictions, or apply to YPP with related channels during your suspension period. Doing so could lead to termination of all channels." Not sure what "suspension period" refers to. Is that the waiting period from the demonetization until one can re-apply to YPP? If so I suppose making a new account could work (assuming you're right about why they got demonetized in the first place), but I think treading with caution would be well-advised. Should your theory prove correct, I'm terribly grateful Brooke's own channel hasn't been flagged, as after all she launched it at 16.

2024-10-25 20:31:05 +0000 UTCBased on what you said in your video when they demonetized you. I suspect it is because your channel has content from when you were young mixed with your newer summer content. Make a new channel that only has content post turning 18 and they wont care.

What I can say (besides what I told you in DM) is that corporations like Google prioritize what they can make billions from over providing a qualitative platform. I'd give a concrete example but it's too atrocious to type out here. If Ash ever gets the time, desire and motivation to post on her channel, however sporadically, I'm all here for it.

I hope you all keep doing videos, but understand if you have to move on. I'll agree with Ashley at the end, youtube can be really dumb sometimes.
