Disintegration is a painless death.

What if you ran a spaceship in 5e? Like, your players literally came across a spaceship in their fantasy world and delved into it, thinking it was a dungeon crawl, and slowly realized the truth. This adventure idea has come in various forms in the past, most famously in the classic tournament play adventure Expedition to the Barrier Peaks! This is my take on this iconic premise.

I ran this adventure originally a couple of years ago when I was introducing some of my co-workers to the hobby. It was the first time I ran for AB and she loved it! It was a lot of fun, and honestly kind of terrifying. She went on to play that character in a number of other campaigns. Now, when I ran it, the adventure wasn't quite the same as it's presented here. It featured several iconic aberrations from 5th edition that I'm not allowed to reprint here. So, instead this adventure has been redesigned with SRD monsters. But if you wanted to shuffle them out for those iconic 5e monsters, a squid faced pirate, brain parasites and chaos toads shouldn't be too difficult to identify. Just tread carefully in balancing the encounters with different statblocks in mind!

Here's another little change you could make to integrate this adventure with your table. The Flow is the multiverse, full of infinite possibilities, and every version of every reality. Who's to say there aren't other versions of the player characters to be found, maybe even aboard this very ship? When I ran this adventure, one of the player characters was named Sitamun-an-Khathep. So, I had the captain of the ship look exactly like her. It didn't transform the plot, there was no twist explaining it; just an inevitable coincidence in the vast infinity of the Flow. You could decide to change the captain of your version of the GSS Centurion to be identical to one of your PCs. It might help create that vibe of the Flow spilling into your world, too.

This is a cool dungeon that I'd love to run! I want to run it on a VTT so it would be awesome to have an unlabeled map for it.
