Patron Playdate - Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

UNLISTED YOUTUBE LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7JJYHgUfaE

Hey Patrons,

I'm almost done editing the Dwarf Fortress documentary, with great progress being made on Disco Elysium and our Everbloom series (thanks Jeremy!). But during the past two weeks I've also had a fantastic time playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It's already one of my favorite games of the past few years and is full of interesting design choices.

So I thought why not record some of my time with the game and share it on here for you fine folks. I just came up with the name Patron Playdate because I didn't know what else to call it and I like naming things.

Enjoy the video!

Danny

PS: Any of the rest of you playing it?

PPS: I play games on a widescreen monitor hence the epic aspect ration.

Danny, you may have a minor herniated disc in your back. I've been dealing with one for a year or so. Might need to see a physical therapist and do a little more than some stretches to get it sorted out.

Dude I am loving KCD2 so much. I can't remember the last time I felt this much freedom in a game, and the world of the game being so responsive to my wacky whims. It's so easy to just get lost in doing side activities. Like Blacksmithing! Why do I love that so much? Hell if I know, but I'm finding it super zen.

Rad! Loving the play through so far. Interesting choice of accents though... Apparently 15th century Czech all sounded like they were from Cornwall. Minor nitpick, game still looks great.

A hell of a lot happened in those 1.5hrs. Game looks amazing. Please do more of these!

Extra rations m’lord? You are really spoiling us!

Do you like naming things? Or do you like exhuming names from GB's graveyard and trotting them out like a sick marionette Danny???

I appreciate you referring to this as widescreen. What do we call 16:9 now, though? Full screen is taken. Can we call it normalscreen? Take seems like biased language. Thickscreen? Welcome to input here...
