Which of these Documentaries should we make?

Hey Patrons!

Let's try something a little different.

Below is a list of games. Some of these are just ideas I have. Some are people we are actively talking to. And others are games that folks have pitched to us over the years. Which one(s) do you think we should pursue...

I'd love to get your feedback on which of these docs you'd like to see. Just give the list a read and drop your thoughts in the comments. Cheerlead your favorites and comment on each other's thoughts too.

Thanks so much!

Danny

PS: Patron Show coming early next week with loads of updates and footage.

Comments

BG3 and/or Titanfall 2

Haitham Fallatah

Both BG3 and Battlefield 1942 would be awesome. Played BG2 when I was a kid, would love to hear the devs about how everything came to be, and how BG3 got into development

Xorinzor

BG3 or Pentiment

Salar Iqbal

Stalker for sure. And maybe 50 Cent game as well, that ought to be interesting.

Piotr

I love to see stalker

bla bla

I'd love to see Facade.

walllable

Late, but adding votes for Destiny and Apex. AAA but pretty different than games covered in the past

Ryan Peterson

I don't know if it's on the list but you guys mentioned it like slightly or maybe you haven't but doing a documentary on Portal 1 and 2 I don't know if that's already been done but I would love that side of valve not that many people talk about Portal 1 and 2 the cake is a lie

Daniel Louis Romero

Pentiment sounds very interesting to me, especially because its unusual presentation and style. Baldur's Gate 3 also sounds very interesting, there too, how Larian evolved their storytelling style since Divinity. Also Terra Nil would be very interesting and more of the story behind the studio Free Lives. Hearing about how BattleBit saw the light of day is interesting as well.

Pal Hargitai

Stalker or 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand would be my choice.

Anders Sajbel

Battlefield 1942

Andreas Hermansson

Baldur's Gate 3 needs a doc from someone and I would love it to be NoClip. there are so many questions regarding how this even got started because wotc have not focued anymore on games in a long time and then this came out.

Christophe Fettouhi

Hey, I'm sure there's a good reason for using the patreon player, but it's pretty unreliable for my devices, I often get stuck before I make it 2 minutes...

Dean Yamak

Titanfall and Destiny, especially destiny.

Patty

Stalker and Pentiment are my favorites. For sake of completionism: the proper order for the your list ;-) Stalker Pentiment Baldur's Gate 3 Battlefield 1942 Rainbow Six / Rouge Spear Apex Legends (and probably Titanfall 2, right?) NHL 94 Destiny (1&2) Facade 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next big clip! :)

toreyam

Apex and Destiny would both be incredible docs! Bungie has come so far and Apex was such a pivot from TF2 . I’d love to know more behind either of these!

Joseph Bowman

Apex & Titanfall 2. And Baldur's Gate 3 of course! Pentiment as well is very interesting.

Sergey Kataev

Or the destiny just to see where Bungie has gone

Daniel Louis Romero

APEX TITANFALL 2 PLEASEE

Daniel Louis Romero

Baldur's Gate 3, simply because of how relevant the game is at the moment.

Jared Tracton

Stalker would be amazing. I think a documentary on any of those games would be great. I think just because of what that studio has all gone through, especially in the more recent years would make for something incredibly compelling to watch.

Tyler Exsted

Baldurs Gate 3 and Stalker would be my top two picks

MonkeySpittle

as huge Bungie fan, I’d love to see you guys do something on Destiny, maybe even just Bungie as a whole, they have a rich history in the game industry, im sure there could be a lot to cover. That said, the Rainbow Six doc sounds like it could be pretty interesting.

Dylan Gearlds

Stalker IMO

Sergey Pearlstein

Battlefield 1942 and Stalker.

Ronny Arild

50 CENT hands down. (I would also be interested in a Titanfall doc, tho.)

Moinky

Stalker

Andreas Jordt

Fiddy cent

Eric Hodges

Pentiment for sure. It would be interesting to see how they got it made despite how un-marketable it is.

Thomas Keys

To be honest, most of these would be great. Maybe see if any of the older games have retired or staff that are out of the gaming field to get a depressed look at the world of development haha

ChrisB

I think a bg3 doc would be better as a retrospective a few years from now

ChrisB

The original team would be a great interview

ChrisB

I second this

ChrisB

50 Cent: BotS and Stalker are my top picks

Ben Guy

50 Cent or NHL 94 would be amazing!

Thomas Lynch

Half Life 3

Jon Power

50 Cent and Titanfall 2

Adam Marrs

Battlefield 1942

risr

50 Cent: blood on the sand or Rainbow Six

Gonzalo

Apex Legends. I feel like there isn't a lot of dev insight or behind the scenes stuff about it and I'd love to see it. Also it's wildly popular right now.

Thomas Schattschneider

NHL 94

Danny

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand or Stalker.

Gr1d

Baldur's Gate 3 NHL 94 Stalker

valHOLLA

Stalker and 50 Cent would be my votes

Eli Cizewski-Robinson

Facade!

Will Barnard

Destiny and Baldur's Gate 3

JasonML

Apex/TF2 or Battlefield 1942

Brian MacCarthy

Destiny, Baldurs Gate 3, Pentiment I'd watch any of them, but I have bias towards the three above.

Michael Webb

All these sound great, but Stalker, BG3, or Apex/Titanfall sound particularly cool.

Patrick O

Destiny (1&2) 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand NHL 94

Joe Dix

BG3

Dan Silverstone

Stalker or BG3

Алекс Тинмен

Stalker

Nuno Barreto

My top 3 would be 3. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (just for the sheer .0001% possibility of getting 50 to talk about it) 2. Baldur’s Gate 3 (my current goty and to hear about their journey in early access similar to hades but on a bit of a larger scope) and 1. Apex/Titanfall (Titanfall 2 is one of my all time favs). But really you guys have great judgement of where the good stories are, so I’ll watch anything really (I recently got all the BK games to get ready for that doc)… Keep up the great work!

Dylan Johnson

Apex/Titanfall and Destiny fall into my main interests, but as always these all sound so fun!

a chicken lad

Baldur's Gate 3

Alex Strainu

Baldurs Gate, Battlefield, Rainbow Six

Dan Krusi

Destiny. For the love of GOD, please, a big ass documentary alike the FF XIV or Withcer series but from D1 up to now.

Germanos

NHL 94

Sherman Harrison

50 cent, BF1942 or STALKER would be great. If you do decide to do Pentament, you should give the waypoint podcast segments about it a listen!

Graeme Harris

Destiny and .50 cent interest me the most among that list. How about Castle Crashers or how about Peggle; For breakthrough indies!!

Gregory Hones

I have always heard that the development of Apex Legends was nuts. As we know, it was announced to the public on the same day it was released. But rumor has it that it was not revealed to EA execs much earlier than that—and the rumoriest rumors say that it was deliberately kept from them so that they would not get a chance to fuck it up! I need to know more!!

Mark Henry

Rainbow Six (O.G.) and BF1942

Paul Denney

Titanfall 2, Titanfall 2 and Titanfall 2 - but I'd also love to learn more about Destiny 1 & 2 :)

MoreMemeThanMan

NHL 94 & Rainbow Six: Rouge Spear

Lonely Penguin

50 cent: Blood on the Sand would be super interesting

Fisher Rodak

Rainbow Six / Rogue Spear & Battlefield 1942

Tuomo Kälviäinen

I would choose: * Destiny (1&2) (purely on the fact that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KXVox0-7lU makes it sound like a hell of a development story) after that * Apex Legends (and probably Titanfall 2, right?) * Rainbow Six / Rouge Spear * 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

Julian Schmid

BG3, Stalker, and Apex/Titanfall 2 are the top 3, but as always, too hard to choose

Alex Spurgeon

Stalker or Pentiment would be my vote!

Kevin Young

Stalker, Apex and Destiny!

Ellis

Pentiment and Baldur's Gate 3

Patrick O'Friel

Titanfall 2 and baldurs gate 3

Leif Dion

I want to see the behind the scenes on the Apex and BG3

newdarkcloud

Stalker for sure

Matthew Carter

Literally anything from Apex and below on the list, but if I had to choose it would be BG3 or Apex/TF2

Revalence123

that's tough, i'd watch any of those but maybe Apex/Titanfall would be my pick. It would be cool to go over the risk of starting respawn, the launch of tf2 and EA being shady with bf 1, and then pivoting to apex and creating such a massive hit.

RickyWinterborn

Stalker

Cody B

Pentiment and Baldur's Gate 3 would be my top two

Sketch

Stalker, please.

David Lomax

I think it's too early to get any actual perspective on BG3 (and as much as I love it, it doesn't need more hype). I also feel like Pentiment was rather well covered : I've read and watched lengthy interviews, in-depth analysis... I'd go with Façade (cedilla on the C), considering it was quite the experiment in both narrative and tech, and it's been rather forgotten lately (possibly because it's not pretty).

Sébastien Delfino

Stalker, Destiny and BG3. Stalker's atmosphere was unlike any other game I've played. I remember playing on the hardest difficulty with no crosshair because apparently that was the way it was intended to be played, it was fun though. Destiny 2 was cool, it felt like a sortof sequel to halo. I remember when they first announced Destiny, they showed off some cool concept art and talked about the Destiny universe and the background law they'd created and it was going to be like a huge mmo where you could do anything. In my memory it kindof had the scope of Star Citizen. I haven't played the Baldur's Gate series but I loved Neverwinter Nights.

Nick

Destiny 1&2

JC

50 Cent, Pentiment and BG3! You have the cool, weird story with 50, a massive blockbuster of a game with BG3 and something unique with Pentiment!

Mikhail Kupriyanov

Rainbo six and Pentiment

Jan Sovis

Destiny 1 had a unique polish, im also sure all the tools were brand new and in house so it sounds like chaos, also what weere they thinking with vanilla D1 and activision relations.

Jaime Kelly

Stalker for sure

Alexander Denisenko

Definitely Pentiment, Baldur's Gate 3 or Stalker would be my top choices here <3 can't wait to see what's in store either way

DMC4EVERUCCI

Rainbow Six / Rouge Spear

Thomas Ritter

Destiny (1&2)

Stephen Houston

I'd like a through S.T.A.L.K.E.R. documentary and a reallyindependent one on Destiny (focusing on the problems). Thank you

Patrick Hey

Destiny (1&2) 🤓

Erik Lidman

I know it's not technically on the list, but Marathon (since they are rebooting the name) or an overall history of Bungie would be really neat.

Max

Destiny would be super intriguing! I think it'd need to be approached with a specific angle, as Bungie does a fantastic job at putting together vidocs and such that get into some of the aspects of game dev, but they're largely marketing pieces for upcoming expansions. Seeing how hard they pivoted from their initial plan to vault content might make for some compelling viewing; it touches on the issue of game preservation in a live service environment. On the other hand, Pentiment rules, so that too!

Paul Puccio

All sound interesting but Stalker would have to be the number one pick for me.

Keegan Zykowski

Battlefield 1942!

Yan Knoop

Destiny 1 & 2 could be really interesting. Jason Schreier covered initial Destiny development in Blood, Sweat and Pixels but as a live service game so much has happened since that could be interesting to explore. The changes to showing more of the stats and build crafting after leaving Activision Blizzard. What they do to try and keep different groups of players engaged and playing. Their approach to story, now would be a great time to talk with them as they near the end of their big Light/Dark story.

Ian Baker

Apex/Titanfall, 50 cent. I feel the latter is more of a time capsule of the early 2000s that will never happen again, so it would be really interesting to see who was behind such a bizarre game.

Ian Zamojc

Would love to get a deep dive into the thoughts behind Baldur's Gate 3.

Marcel Hedemand

Pentiment, BG3 and Stalker

Laura Hotulainen

Would love a BG3 while it's relatively fresh off the presses. Though a 50 cent doco would be fascinating to see.

ciknay

Pentiment!

Daniel Splint

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Stalker, and Rainbow Six Siege will be interesting to see.

Jorge Romero

Destiny!

Something else

Stalker, nhl 94, bg3

Gabriel Priori

Rainbow 6! Red Storm Entertainment would be super interesting to learn about; also, this is the game that pioneered the realistic shooter, and I spent far too many years playing the original series. I wish more games had tried the mission planning that was integral to the old R6 games.

Carl Knoos

BG3 for me

Ryan DowlingSoka

Stalker, Baldurs Gate, and Apex would all be interesting I think

Evan Bentley

Absolutely STALKER! It's development history was insane, and being from a Ukrainian studio, it's a very relevant topic right now.

fireaza

Stalker or Facade

Ball

Stalker for sure, I'm 100% sure there's an interesting story there. Would be interested in a doc for BG3 as well. 50 cent would also be fun because lots of people work in games that aren't blockbuster hits and are schlocky or whatever, so maybe you could lean into the human element of working on a game that everyone knows is a joke (you're already doing that with BK, but that's more like funny anecdote "I worked on the BK games" than like "yeah I worked on some dumb games that also no one liked").

Zion Klinger

Facade would be VERY interesting to hear!! Especially with the whole AI/ML conversation today.

Carson

I'm all for big studio docs, but I'm not really interested in the behind the scenes of multiplayer shooters. Pentiment or Facade documentaries would be fascinating. Baldur's Gate 3 too. Maybe Stalker.

TCBD

Omg Facade PLEASE. that game is such an important part of experimental and indie game history, I’d love to learn more about how it came to be. Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1942 are definite runners up for me too.

Mikey Z

Facade, Stalker, Baldur's Gate 3

Daniil Shevtsov

Baldur's Gate 3 and Titanfall 2!

Vailthor .

Balders Gate 3 + Rainbow 6

docEbrown

Titanfall!!

Stephen So

I think 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand would make a fascinating documentary subject. A crossover rarity then and now, there must be at least a few deeply interesting stories involved in that development.

Gavin Greene

Since I didn’t play them myself, I find all the early groundbreaking massive multiplayer shooters (Battlefield 1942, Tribes, Planetside) very fascinating. As well as all the various Quake1/2 mods and the experiments and genres they gave rise to.

Siim

Facade

Ryan Peterson

I have always wondered if there is a good story (or lessons learned) in the transition from Destiny to Destiny 2. I know they've talked a bit about how the engine from D1 made it difficult to add content. Otherwise, STALKER would be sick. and same with Titanfall 2... I mean Apex Legends.

Ryan Carbotte

NHL 94 would be interesting

Lars Scholz

Without a shadow of a doubt STALKER, although it was a bug laden mess on release, there was greatness there. The hype before it's actual release was something else, it obviously went awry, as many things do, but I'd like to know the ins and outs.

David Gates

I would be absolutely fascinated to hear the story behind Pentiment, but I'm sure Baldur's Gate 3 has a great one too.

Ben Christianson

Pentiment! I'd also be interested in Stalker and of course 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

Ryan Ng

I'm a greedy bugger with 4 ranked preferences: Stalker, Destiny, BF1942 and Apex

Damian K

50 cent and apex. Pulling back the veil on the titanfall to apex transition would be fascinating.

J

Pentiment, BG3 . PS : I think it’s Rogue Spear

Philippe

50 Cent and Titanfall 2 and Pentiment

Ross

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because it's by far my favourite game (series) on the list. It can also tie in nicely to the upcoming release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and highlight the plight in the continuing war on Ukraine.

Chris Barker

BG3 and pentiment

Thomas Gerardin

Stalker, Titanfall 2 and Destiny in order of preference

Attilio Carotenuto

Baldur's Gate 3!

Emma

Pentiment, if only because I'd be interested in what the Noclip 'angle' would be on it. That, and I can not get enough Josh Sawyer goodness in my life.

Jam Ferguson

Stalker and titan fall 2.

Mark Rojas

Stalker and Battlefield 1942 would be my top 2

Rob

I'd pick BG3, then Pentiment and finally Stalker

Dominique Neuen

Pentiment could be great, but I think Josh Sawyer did a good job of making the rounds and doing interviews about that neat release, so there aren't as many questions to answer. Baldur's Gate is the biggest one for me because of it's long early access period under the radar. Stalker and Rainbow Six could be really interesting too, they feel a bit inderappreciated historically.

Brainfreeze

Destiny 1+2 or titan fall (more than apex). I saw a suggestion for ghost recon in the comments that would be cool. How about Soccom that's a name I haven't heard in a long time

Josh Daniels

I would love to hear them cover so much about Respawn games' movement mechanics. I feel like especially for Danny being such an og arena FPS guy, it'd be cool to hear their take on the legacy of that movement style

Burnt-Delta

Titanfall and Battlefield would be amazing. BG3 for sure will be a big hit

RayceARoni

BG3, Titanfall, 50 Cent

Nathan Scullen

Apex Legends, Baldur's Gate 3, Stalker

Yennick

I'm gonna suggest the Ghost Recon series if you're thinking about Rainbow Six.

Dennis Lahay

Titanfall 2/Apex, NHL 94, 50 Cent: BotS (but only if you can get 50 Cent).

Dennis Lahay

My top 3 would be: 1. Pentiment 2. 50 Cent 3. NHL 94

Ryan Lewis

Stalker please ❤️ then Pentiment, Titanfall 2, i mean... Apex Legends

Robert Haris

I'm way too curious about 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand!

Nolan Murphy

BG3 and Apex Legends!!

Laure Bruyère

Oh, do Baldur's Gate! Then you have to come to Belgium and we can do a meet-up! 😁👍

Bavo Debraekeleer

Remedy - please do freaking Remedy. I had tiny hopes that your cancelled European trip was Finland-bound, but it seems I was wrong after all. With the whole RCU and incoming Max remakes, you’ll have plenty to cover.

Michael Siyatskyy

Destiny would be incredible. Also would like to see 1942, Rainbow Six, and any Baldur’s Gate content

Forrest Pruitt

Facade with overly dramatic live-action reenactments spliced into the doc.

Joshua Enes

As some of my earliest PC gaming memories, I'd love to see Rainbow 6 and Rouge Spear covered. I remember those games being very interesting simulations, but I don't recall much of the narrative. As an early part of the Tom Clancy franchise, it would be interesting to know how that franchise became so intertwined with gaming history.

Bill Jones

Baldur's Gate 3, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand and Battlefield 1942

Nullthreat

Would love to see a doc on stalker. Would be nice to hear some Eastern European voices on the channel!

Matthew Thomas

Stalker and 50 cent would be my votes!

Mackenzie Marshall

Battlefield 1942 or Stalker or both!

Erik Sagen

stalker would be fascinating

Ter

I haven’t even played Baldur’s Gate 3 and that would have to be my pick. From what I’ve seen the scope is huge but there’s an incredible attention paid to even the smallest details. I also didn’t play Destiny 1, and dropped out of Destiny 2 after the first DLC dropped, but the vibe is awesome and I bet there would be a cool story to tell about the team moving on from Halo.

John

Would love to see BG3

wightfyre

Baldur's Gate 3 or Stalker are top for me. I'd like to see more non-US developers. Another contender for me would be Battlefield 1942 because that game has a lot of history for me and honestly a big piece of FPS history in general.

iARRpirate

Baldur's Gate 3 would be interesting because of how well their operation seems to be running. That is highly unusual.possible. Battlefield 1942 has some history. It was groundbreaking for the time and showed people that massively multiplayer battle arenas were possible. Rainbow Six is it's own story. That's been around for awhile. I would be interested in stories on any of these

chromicacid

50 cent please. I would love to hear his thoughts if possible looking back

Dan Reeter

Battlefield 1942 is one i would love. I think you could tell an interesting story with that one about how it started that style of game and kicked off the franchise without it having to be a big retrospective doc on the whole franchise. You do do it sort of like the community style doc of Half Life where you look at its lasting impact. Could talk to people who did like Enemy Territory, Squad, Battle bit, and some other devs who kind of ran with the baton after battlefield 50 Cent Blood on the Sand would be perfect just because there is kind of a gap in coverage. I feel like everyone talks about it, but nobody actually "talks" about it, you know? NHL94 would be incredible too. I would absolutely love that one. An angle for the story could be shockingly how unexpected that specific one in a sea of annual hockey games across decades still persists to be the fan favorite

Michael Middleton

Rainbow Six / Rogue Spear!!! Really spawn a genre of more realistic tactical shooters. I remember buying it when I was a kid and my PC had no graphics card so level 6 kept crashing and I had to stop playing for like 6 months until Christmas and we bought one to put in.

John Harris

50 Cent is the most logical follow-up to Immortality and Vampire Survivors because logic

Uncle Jam

I'd really love to see * Stalker * Baldur's Gate 3

Lasse Hansen

Pentiment and BG3 pleeeeaseeeee

Vas G

All of these are really interesting, especially STALKER

Mary May

Apex Legends!

Shell Comics

Apex/Titanfall or BG3. Not really even a question. If neither of those, then Pentiment.

Silver-Streak

Facade!

Matt Martin

Please do Pentiment, first vote. Second vote is Stalker! You guys rule.

Hiking Viking

uhh, Respawn developer here. Would love to see that Apex/Titanfall doc. ok, thanks, bye. But seriously, if not that, I gotta go with 50 cent and BG3

Daanish Syed

I mean, Blood on the Sand & NHL 94 would be interesting I think, but Battlefield & Stalker are probably the ones you get the most views with

Christoph Wendler

I've got to know the story behind the making of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

lowercase brian

Destiny!

Patrick Scott

Baldur’s Gate 3 and Pentiment

Paulo Campos

NHL 94.

Josh LaBaw

Rainbow Six / Rogue Spear would be amazing! Definitely interested in Baldurs Gate (as a series) And 50 cent because why not?

Kasper Pedersen

Baldur’s Gate 3 and Stalker seems interesting

Bendik

The 700+ hours on my Steam account say Destiny. It’s a problem.

Michael Bataligin

Baldur's Gate 3, Stalker, and Pentiment.

Andrew Countryman

i would prefer a doc on titanfall over apex because I don't know if we need to know more about the inner workings of a cash grabby battle royale. titanfall is a much more interesting IP imo that got thrown to the side in favour of microtransaction hell (apex). (i have over 900 hours in apex and i regret every one of them lol)

Casey Holloway

My top 3 (in order): - Stalker - Resident Evil (I know, not mentioned in the list, but mentioned twice in comments, now 3 times counting this comment :) ) - Baldur's Gate 3

Marian

Destiny

Jacob Leaf

'50 Cent: Blood on the Sand' and the 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.' series would be intriguing and super captivating.

Isa VDS

NHL 94 and Baldur’s Gate 3

Daniel Yun

Battlefield 1942

npars

All great ideas, really hard to pick one. A comprehensive Respawn documentary would sure be fascinating. BG3 too, would love to see more about the process of making that and the development to that game from Original Sin 2

Faris Delalic

Battlefield 1942

Bent Liang Hansen

I'm super interested in Baldur's Gate 3, Pentiment and Stalker. I'm vaguely interested in Facade. I'm absolutely not interested in everything else.

Тот, Кто Следует За Казахами

Pentiment and Rainbow Six/Rogue Spear are the two I'd be most interested in seeing.

N.R. Jenzen-Jones

Pentiment Baldur's Gate 3 Would get my vote

Frank Rooney

Maybe Baldur’s is part of a series retrospective along with with what’s on the horizon, kind of like a smaller version of the Bethesda doc? Destiny, for the same reasons as CrazyOldOwl above seems like it would be super interesting.

Frankie Aguilar

Baldurs gate 3 and Apex/Titanfall 2 for me. If you can get an interview with 50 Cent though, do that one!

Steve Dennis

Battlefield 1942 / Penitiment

Jamie Ogle

I feel like Stalker could be really interesting!

Mike Egan

Pentiment! I am so maddeningly curious about everything about this game and how it came together. It seems like such a fascinating passion project that got somehow blessed with Microsoft money. The sheer amount of historical facts that seem obscure to me are head-spinning.

Cameron Ladd

Destiny (1&2). Loads of up and downs throughout the pre-production, development, and live service of those games over the years. Even Bungie's own admitted "oh no, this could end D2" moment with the player count nose diving from D2's launch into "Curse of Osiris" and then "Warmind" before "Shadowkeep" dropped, or how it had to keep reshaping itself to fit the changing definitions of a "live service" from when D1 launched to today.

Craig Dower

Put in the spot I'd have to say Baldurs Gate 3. But pls do one on Resident Evil? :)

MKFreigeist

Do Resident Evil, please?

D.L'Orca

STALKER would be good but I get the circumstances aren't great.

Alasdair Duncan

Doing BG3 seems like it would just be another doc on the pile. There's already so much coverage of it. 50 Cent Blood on the Sand, however, would be really unique and interesting.

Tommy Brunn

I’d love to see one on Stalker. Failing that, BG3 seems timely and interesting considering the long dev cycle.

Brandon High

NHL 94 for retro or Destiny for current - both would have a lot to dig into.

lifeinhifi

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand or Baldur's Gate 3

TheAffronted

Baldur's Gate 3!

Cypress

Stalker - I think Baldurs Gate 3 is overhyped and needs a break - regardless of how good it is

Timo Birnschein

Bg3 and pentiment

Steven Ngu

Oh yeah, 50 Cent blood on the sand. Otherwise Baldur's Gate 3

Athem (Anch)

Apex/Titanfall. 2015/iw/respawn have a great story, and the core group of guys have done other interviews about the old days.

George Lester

Titanfall 2 and 50 Cent Blood on the Sand get my votes

Logan Johnson

Apex Legends & Titanfall. Larian already had great documentaries for the development of Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2.

Jan Meissner

50 Cent Blood in the Sand, duh

Derek Lieu

Baldur's Gate 3 and Apex/Titanfall would be 😗👌

Sven Hüster

Battlefield 1942

Peter Frost

Baldurs Gate 3

Johnny Hooyberghs

Pentiment!

lamora

Battlefield, Baldurs Gate, Destiny, Rainbow Six and Respawn all sound interesting.

Eddie

Baldurs Gate 3

J Berg

I would watch any of these but personally, I think the business side of Destiny would be super interesting, what with it being their first game post-Microsoft, only to be folded into Activision, split off again, and now be with Sony. Would love to know more about that. I was tempted to say Baldur's Gate 3 because I adore that game but Larian and Sven have done so many interviews and so much of that game's development was in early access and open that I really don't know what more there is to say about it? 50 Cent Blood on the Sand is such a weird game that I think it would be a facinating story. Also comes from a time in gaming where developer interviews and behind the scenes content was much less common so I think there's a ton of meat on that bone for a documentary. Respawn in general, I'm interested in Titanfall 1 and 2 and how Apex Legends grew out of that for sure. Pentiment strikes me as a good smaller video. Though Obsidian just did a documentary series of their own where they talked about it so I don't know if there's much more to add to the conversation. Would almost be more interesting to have Josh Sawyer on the podcast and let Jeremey and Danny run an interview like the Sam Barlow one.

Connor McNamara

BF1942 and BG3 are the 2 games that I enjoy the most and were most important to me. It would be really interesting to hear the story of how Apex and Fortnite were both BRs that came out of completely different projects and outshined their predecessors.

David Rogers

Oooh, Pentiment and BG3 for me

Diane Frank

Balders gate 3 (as gameumentary have done great ones on DOS and DOS2 which Danny pops up in when they talk to Kevin van Ord!) Pentiment, 50 cent plus Apex and Destiny please! But I'd watch any of these as love learning the history about the games regardless how much I'd play of them 😊

Jack Mayo

Baldur's Gate 3, Stalker, Apex Legends/TitanFall, and Destiny for sure

Jeff Campbell

Battlefield 1942 and Rainbow Six for me.

Richard Nienaber

Destiny could be super interesting, but I am unsure how much they‘d be willing to share given what a mess the development supposedly was.

David Bergmann

You can only do 50 Cent if you include Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe review of it.

Andrew Irvine

A deep dive on Stalker would be amazing. I would like to see something on BG3 as well, though maybe the hype should die down a little first?

Goddesen

Stakler, Destiny, Baldur's Gate 3, Blood in the Sand. In that order

Conor Hughes

I’d vote for Destiny for sure, but after The Final Shape comes out so you can show a complete “Getting from there to here” journey

taiidani

A Destiny doc sounds great to me

takeshikitano3

STALKER / GSC Game World would be a very interesting story. Even more so with current situation in Ukraine and the impact it have on developing stalker 2. Baldur's Gate 3 / Larian Studio would also be a great doc.

Vivien Spreux

Gotta be BG3... Amazing game. Destiny would be cool too though as a second vote.

Jason Foster

50 Cent and Rainbow Six. Personally, zero interest in a game as current, huge and ubiquitous as Destiny.

Sean Noonan

BG3 & 50 Cent!!

Steven O'Hair

Treating this like a MVP ballot and ranking them lol 1. Rainbow Six 2. Stalker 3. Battlefield 4. Blood on the Sand 5. Destiny

ctg867

BG3 and NHL94

Hen Peng

Rainbow 6/Rogue Spear. The whole impact that licensing an author's name had on video games is fascinating, along with the mergers that led to Ubisoft.

Adam C.

Seems like Destiny could be the deepest dive with having the most active history.

Brad Davis

A BG3/Larian Studios doc would be great.

Shackleberry

I think Destiny 1/2 has the most Bravo TV/drama energy (they revoiced Dinklage!) but I like personally think Apex Legends would be the cooler one from a game dev stand point. I’d love to learn more about how Respawn approaches prototyping and the story around how they go from single player experiences to a BR.

Johan Lieu

Would love to see BG3.

Brendan Radich

Battlefield 1942 :D

obsKura

I mean *obviously* we need a BG3 doc, but Stalker would be incredible too!

Joe aka Speak

Titanfall 2 + ³!!! Also bg3

Ola Nordlien

Pentiment! There must be some great stories there. It's such an unusual game, from the setting to the art style to the way it's *such* a departure for Obsidian. Good excuse for a trip to Germany too?

Will Thompson

Titanfall 2 (not apex legends) Stalker Rainbow Six (i love the idea nhl, but i don't even know what that would be :D)

Kristian Koivisto-Kokko

Stalker, I remember that game was in development for aeons before it released curious to know what the behind the scenes was like.

Philip Denton

Destiny , stalker and fiddy

Mark Larssen

Oh, man. Great list of options. I’m leaning toward: Destiny 1 & 2 Stalker

James Starbird

Destiny

Ryan Folsland

BG3 Destiny

Demstel

50 cent would be pretty interesting ;) but Baldurs Gate 3also would be really cool since there is so much content in this game, how they even were able to do that

overdev

Stalker or Baldur's Gate 3

The Great Unknown

Baldur's Gate 3 while getting into the history of 1&2 would be AWESOME! My second wish would be Rainbow 6 because the way that series started is VERY different from where it ended up. I LOVED that first game where you had to plan out your attacks almost like a strategy game... and then said GO and shit happened. I kind of wish they'd make an old school Rainbow 6 again... I'd play that game. I bet there is a cool story to be seen in the background of those games.

Ricktor_Black

Stalker BG3 Pentiment. , in that order of preference

Perry Russell

I would love one on Facade or Pentiment. Something about the story behind oddball or niche titles is very interesting to me.

Dennis Müller

Apex (and hopefully some Titanfall)

Sokar

There’s gotta be some threw line between blood in the sand and Balders gate3 right? You can just do both and tie them together right?

Josh

Do the Stalker one. That is an interesting Story! Include the Ukraine War, show some faces and what happened with them. How there is always a showmantship veil in the production of video games but at the end it always requires people to ACTUALLY make them. And how a game that was supposed to be released in 2022 got delayed not by mismanagement but by a literal war. Wait until the New Game releases so you can include footage and Stories about its production. That is if it releases this or beginning of next year.

APatreon

I would choose Stalker.

Marc Therrien

NHL 94 for sure! Something you may wanna check out is the annual tournament King of 94 which is actually happening in a couple weeks (kingof94.ca). They have a stream and everything so it's a great way to learn more about the community. I actually played in the very first one back in 2015. 😁

Jazz Jackrabbit

All of those are great options, but I'll throw my vote in for NHL 94.

Chris McCarthy

It has to be nhl 94.

fillitfillit

Pentiment or Stalker.

Seán Mooney

Baldur's Gate 3 is the obvious popular pick. NHL 94 is the niche obscure story that would be grat to tell I'd love to watch a doc about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand but only if you can lock down an interview with 50 himself :p

Ben Salvidrim

BG3

Jon Wilson

NHL 94. How can a game, let alone a sports franchise game, 20 years old STILL have no equal?

Isaac Shumard

Pentiment, especially since this is a passion project of Josh Sawyer. Love to see you dig deeper into that love of his for medieval Europe and the stories there. Baldur's Gate 3, the scope and the development involved and (mostly?) crunch avoided? Destiny, especially the rise and fall and rise and fall of the studio makes for a very interesting angle.

Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven

BG3 and 1942 would be both great to dive into!

Traalshek

Battlefield 1942 and Apex Legends interest me. Maybe some Battlefield 2142 some day?

Magnetic Llama

My vote would be for Destiny, Battlefield, and Apex (in that order). Would love to know more about Baldur's Gate 3, but it may be best to let the dust settle on that first. Also, would absolutely love to hear more about the 50 Cent game, but I have a feeling that the people involved wouldn't want to talk about it? I could be wrong.

Michael Enger

I'm going with a preference tiered system from what you've provided starting with the most interest: Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear Destiny 1 & 2 Stalker

Brandon K Gann

Oh, so many good choices. Titanfall 2 (if you have to do Apex, I guess) Pentiment would be SUPER interesting as something that was influenced by industry consolidation. 50 Cent Blood on the Sand because, like, woah. That was made.

Xbox Playdates

Pentiment!!

Eva Hamm

Baldur's Gate 3 ofc, but also find out if they're working on some DLC, Destiny is boring grinding game that people love cuz they have stockholm syndrome

ProRussianMan

BG 3, because Larian seemed an awesome place for those oft mentioned "weird creatives", at least from watching the Gameumentary docs. And Stalker (and Stalker 2) cause boy, being a creative in Ukraine right now, I'd love to hear how they do it.

Björn Vahle

Destiny, Baldurs Gate 3, and Battlefield 1942 all have interesting and diverse stories. Bungie and the split from Microsoft to Activision to Sony. BG3 and Larians ascension. BF1942 would be a fascinating retrospective for a hugely influential game and a series that lost its base for a while.

Craig

Stalker, Destiny and Pentinent!

Maribeth Buczacki

God if you can actually deep dive what the destiny 1 story initially was that would be amazing. Otherwise Larian Studios rise to fame is such a feelgood story.

Ivo Robotnik

I would be very excited to see a Destiny doc! I appreciate BG3 is going to have a lot of buzz atm but that might be a reason to keep some distance from it and actually tackle it in a year or so rather than now.

B&L

Pentiment FTW! I KNOW there are amazing stories behind that beautiful game 😊

Peter Sabol

My vote for Destiny 1&2 (I mean those games having been going for such a long time..) and BG3 (Belgian studio making such a big licensed game? Definitely interesting).

Smulder

If you could get Fiddy that would be incredible. Destiny would be epic, so much to talk about there. But I’d love it if you interviewed Kevin Van Ord about going from game reviewer to game writer and how that process works, he’d have a great perspective on BG3.

Nick Hide

Definitely Baldur's Gate 3 (and perhaps touch up on 1 & 2 too? how it got to be, how it grew, etc.) Stalker would be very cool too

Xorinzor

Baldur's Gate 3 and Stalker please :)

Danila Fediashchin

Pentiment, Pentiment, Pentiment, Pentiment, Pentiment, Pentiment, Pent..

yablko

I'd Love to see Apex/Titanfall 2, Baldur's Gate 3 or Battlefield

Aden M

Pentiment has an amazing story to tell. I would also include talking to the type designers at Lettermatic about how they created all of the custom type which gave Pentiment so much flavor.

John B.

Baldur's gate 3, absolutely

Carl

BF1942! What with BattleBit having gotten quite big specifically because it tries to be more like pre-BF3 Battlefield, I think now is an excellent time to revisit those early Battlefield games. Also, Pentiment - would love to have you pick the devs' brain on what was clearly a passion project for all of them, and it's a great excuse to spend a bunch of time looking into medieval manuscript illumination.

Alex N.

By order of preference: "Pentiment", "Stalker", "Balder's gate 3".

Julien

Baldur’s Gate 3 for sure! There is a wild story to be told there and opportunity to track down old school BioWare people who worked on the originals for comment/context. It’s a really cool opportunity to talk about a beloved franchise that spans more than 20 years. And a rare one where each game in the series is absolutely killer and defining for the genre at the time of their release.

Mike

Stalker. It had such a long dev time.

Shawn

Pentiment would be cool. It would be interesting to hear about Destiny, given Bungie's journey from acquisition to independence, and then back to another acquisition.

Mike Alfus

Apex/Titanfall 2 (or maybe just Respawn?) would be sick, and Pentiment seems like a great subject for a doc both as a game and as the story of Josh Sawyer getting it made. Would also love a Jeremy Jayne video essay on Pentiment.

Grave

Apex Legends (Titanfall 2) Baldur's Gate 3

Navid Saremi

If you can swing it, 50 Cent is my vote, with STALKER and Baldur's Gate 3 being a close second and third.

Preston Chaderton

50 cent blood on the sand. I'm sure Tony Yayo would be a good interview.

Mark Craven

As Destiny 2 approaches The Final Shape there seems like no better time.

Mark Simon

Whatever you make, will be awesome as usual. So, looking forward to seeing the Destiny documentary... ;-) :-D

Nikos Steiakakis

Battlefield 1942 was my first multiplayer game and consumed my life. Baldur's Gate 3 and Larian are also amazing.

Sebastian Nordgren

BF1942, as long as it also covers Desert Combat!

Keith O'Conor

I think Destiny 1&2, Baldur's Gate 3, and STALKER all have amazing stories to tell. I'm a bit biased because I still play Destiny 2, but any of those would make for great docs.

Andrew Franges

Battlefield 1942

Ariel

Pentiment, but it's exclusively filmed while biking around with Josh Sawyer to coffee shops.

Chroneus

Stalker! :)

Danny

NHL 94. It's just a great classic. And the knowledge about it will be priceless for historians.

Sebastian

50 Cent, obviously. But, Danny, I’m still waiting for the ‘Too Human’ doc! 👀

Andrew McCann

Baldur's Gate 3 seems like it would be an excellent one if possible! Larian are such a unique team, and while they've been transparent about the development, nothing beats a well-packaged Noclip doc.

The Canipa Effect

Baldur's Gate 3!

Matt Bertram

NHL '94 - I was never really into sports games but for some reason this one really got me hooked!

Brian Marsh

The Stalker Doc absolutely needs to be made.

Jeremy Hiemke

NHL 94!

Robert Ring

Baldur's Gate and Blood on the Sand

Ben Rohrbaugh

Pentiment and Facade PLEASE

liquidmeatsub

Battlefield 1942 and Baldur's Gate 3 get my vote 👍

Jan Terje Bringe

50 Cent is so out of nowhere that I'd love to see it, however since Larian are such cool folks I'll go with Baldur's Gate

Joachim

Destiny please

TheGamerDomain

Baldurs Gate 3! Heck would even be fun to see insight on 1&2

Hugo Pereira

facade would be so damn interesting

Everdred

Stalker

Michael Rinne

FIDDY

The Phantomnaut

I would LOVE a Destiny doc! that game has been such a big and important part of my life

Legend of Hayden

Baldur's Gate 3
