Hey Patrons!
We have a two hour long documentary on Black Mesa coming next month so I thought it would be a good idea to give you a peek at what to expect. I'm finalizing production on this after Jeremy did a terrific job on the edit with hours of Frank's capture across several Source Engine games. The script needs to be written, recorded & filmed and I'm gonna dabble some VFX and motion graphics stuff in here too. But we already have an 90% finished cut of the doc thanks to Jeremy. Just another example of what your funding can help us achieve with a full team working on these.

Black Mesa is such a wonderful passion project and as a huge Half Life fan it always makes me smile seeing all the love and effort they put into this remake. Super excited for the final documentary!

Very interesting to hear what these guys have to say about how the team came to be and what their considerations were regarding the Source material. I'm especially interested to learn how they took up feedback from the community (which was surely mostly fantastic but possibly also quite toxic at times). And from what I understand they had a bad crunch going for a while, but they managed to recover from that. Cool music too btw :) that's probably from the game, right? Man I need to play this again, it's been a while.
