How Two Indies Convinced CD Projekt to Make a Witcher Themed AR Game

Hey Patrons,
The first of a handful of fun videos coming out this month is something that popped up on my radar a few weeks ago. The folks at CD Projekt recently acquired an indie studio who are making a The Witcher themed AR game in the vein of Pokémon GO. I had a change to talk to the two guys who founded the studio to tell their ten-year journey through mobile game dev, and the design challenges of trying to put quests into a game where people are walking around outside.
You know I like to cover mobile games from time-to-time and so when I got the chance to talk to the guys I jumped at the chance. Also you get to see me playing the game around Oakland which was super fun to do during a heatwave with smokey air! ;)

I am not interesting in this type of games at all (despite my great love for Witcher). But this doc was really interesting and fun! Good job ;)
