Hey Patrons,

For the past month myself and Frank have been brainstorming and producing a new version of the podcast. This was in a large part based on community feedback, and the current situation we find ourselves in with Covid-19.

I've always wanted to have the time to dedicate to a proper, weekly interview podcast where we talk to people about the games they play and the games they've made. To release more of the types of conversations we have on our documentary shoots. The problem is that with all the editing, production and management work I do I simply never had the time to really nail the podcast.

These days everyone is as home, so organizing interviewees is much easier. And with loads of pre-production help and guidance from community manager Frank Howley, I've been able to finally build the podcast I've always wanted. We have loads of great guests lined up for the first few episodes. And we kick things off with a great interview with Nate Fox and Jason Connell of Sucker Punch Productions all about the design of Ghosts of Tsushima. We have loads of other big name developers lined up for the coming weeks, along with friends of the show and a few celebrities dropped in there too.

Oh, and it's weekly now too!

My aim it to build the leading podcast for interviews from the industry so please give us your feedback on the show and let us know who YOU would like on an upcoming episode. Let us know if you have any questions too.

Excited to hear what you think. We've a big behind the scenes video dropping next week, along with new docs coming this month. Keep your eyes peeled.

Omg this is awesome!

Sadly we simply don't have the budget to do it. At current rates we'd have to pay close to a thousand dollars a month to get a weekly podcast of this length captioned - especially as we intentionally don't use companies that pay unethically for this service. This wasn't taken lightly - the first 15 or so episodes of the podcast were captioned & transcribed entirely - and of course all of our documentaries - but we just can't afford to have them. I may look into doing a sponsorship for it at some stage, but I'm sorry that we won't have these captioned. Of course the docs will continue to be.

Can this video be captioned properly for deaf viewers?
