With just a week to go until Noclip's biggest ever filming shoot, we're announcing a special addition to our $10 tier. The Game Developer's Conference is one of the biggest week's of the year for Noclip. Two years ago we filmed around a dozen interviews there. Last year one of our films filled out the screening room at their festival. This year we're doing all of the above and more.
Both Jeremy & Esteban are joining me for 5 days of developer interviews at GDC 2019. We're talking to folks from both indie and AAA. Developers from America, Europe and Japan about everything from classic games to modern hits, development, art direction, design, unionization and more. We're also proud to be showing our Half-Life Documentary at this year's film festival.
With all this in mind we decided to do something special to invite you into the process, and help us generate some extra funds for the 120+ work hours that this will cost us that week.
So anyone who is in the $10 tier by midnight (EST) on Sunday, March 17th will get access to daily live check-ins from our interview space in San Francisco. We're going to fill you in on who we're interviewing that day, answer your questions, and give you a live viewing of the process of setting up (and all things going to plan) interviewing developers. These will also be available as videos immediately afterwards if you missed the live broadcast.
This doesn't affect any current rewards you receive on our Patreon - it's a bonus for folks in that tier. If you're in the $10 tier (or higher) already, you have access to this offer automatically.
A massive thank you to all of you for supporting our work. It's been a busy few months with Hades, Astroneer, Mortal Kombat 11 and the podcast and without your help we wouldn't have been able to hit GDC so hard this year. If you get a chance I heard the dev who made the horror game Faith is gonna be there, might be neat to interview him, it's aesthetic and overall storytelling is eeeeerie.
