Our First Noclip Session is Live!

YOUTUBE LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6jVEADsq3o

Hey Patrons,

I'm very excited to finally publish our first of ten Noclip Sessions that we recorded at GDC earlier this year. For this episode we talked to Theresa Duringer about her work developing games in virtual reality. Not to mention how VR is helping her ignore her fear of flying.

Expect more of these every week we don't put up a major doc. Between you and me, Hugo and Marty from id Software are up next.

Let me know what you think!

Great interview. She seems like a great person overall, very focused, and really loves her work. Kudos to her and folks like her that venture out on a limb to be independent. Ill be looking out for her games... never ran into them but they looked fun

Nice interview, The guys from Id are extremely likeable! Its great to see the more humane side of game devs, and not only the PR side! Thanks Daniel!

I miss 'The point'. :(

Who did the music on this clip? it was excellent.

Just wondering, are you planning on releasing "extended cuts" of these interviews like you did with some of the docs? That'd be awesome! Otherwise this is perfect as it is!

Amir Rangnekar

Good question. I did loop the hell out of it. I'll see about being a bit easier on the next one.

Awesome work Danny. Perfect size, hope it's not been too much of an extra struggle for your workload ❤️

Loved this first NoClip Sessions! The snacksize length was perfect and the interviewee was very interesting and well spoken, top stuff Danny - keep up the great work.

An interesting conversation with someone interesting about interesting stuff. Enjoyed it - thanks! I like the music too but... do we need it throughout?

Loved it. Can't wait for the FFXIV documentary!!

I do! All the time (though not over Facebook). Apologies, I had thought somebody had answered this for you. I don't use any advertising service. I worked on a major games website for a number of years which helped get my name out there at the beginning. That established a firm foundation, and our Patreon has slowly, but steadily grown ever since. Advertising is a money pit. I would imagine that the best way to get supporters to your channel is by reaching out to other Fallout fan communities. Or perhaps even Fallout / Bethesda themselves for a little promotional bump. Your Patreon is very niche in that respect, so I'd try and reach people who share your passion that way. My 2 cents anyway.

We did stick them in the notes, but yeah good point I should probably put them in the thirds too. Thanks for watching!

@Danny Don't you ever reply to your patrons? I've been asking the same question for a while now and even messaged your facebook page. I wanted to ask you what advertising service you use for your patreon page to promote it. I also have a patreon page for the audio dramas I have been creating and it doesn't get enough eyes. Please if you could tell me what services you use to advertise, I really need help! I can never hit my goal and have to struggle to find supporters. My audio dramas are top notch as well, I just need help getting the word out. Please Danny any advice would be much appreciated!

Very cool, insightful video. I feel the length of these is just right, maybe the developer info (website, twitter, twitch, etc...) could be added in a screen at the end or the notes.
