Behind The Scenes Special #2 (A Kinda Funny Mailbag)

YOUTUBE LINK:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91Z1DgMG2mk

Hey Patrons!

As you are probably aware, we booked out first doc at the start of the week and I'm hard at work setting up the new livestreaming shows and the new opinion show. That's all to say next month is when Noclip and my YouTube channel really takes off content wise. I'll have information on what the new show(s) are called and focused on next week. Right now I'm waiting for our new retro game capture hardware to arrive and working on motion graphics so it all looks the part (expect some Behind the scenes stuff on that real soon).

But in the meantime there are plenty more opportunities to record myself while walking down the street in broad daylight . In this episode of Come Clip With Me I head over to Kinda Funny to record a podcast, show off some of Noclip's new kit, and open my first ever mailbag!

Thanks again for all your support this month, and for trusting me so early on. You are the people who are making this dream come true, and while I hope the Noclip family grows over the next few months, you OG backers will always have a special place in my heart.

Hope you enjoy the vid. Talk again soon!

How did you get your logo treatment? It's awesome. Did the "treatment" include the sound effects and animation?

Seeing you pull out the N64 with all the paint and scuff marks made me all warm inside. You have no need to be cheap but it just shows how seriously you take every dollar sent your way. It's really great. I look forward to experiencing all the gaming greatness you always wanted but never had the chance for before. Document it all! Thanks a ton.

Hey Danny, the N64 Jumper Pack is literally just RAM for the console. That's why it needs to be in at all times ;) The original Jumper Pack was 4MB of RAM but later they brought out an 8MB RAM pack which some games required such as Donkey Kong 64.

N64 ! That's so awesome! You should try to get ahold of Goldeneye! That game was da shit! Thanks again for these behind the scenes updates Danny,so nice to see how it is all coming together :) Much love from Norway!

There's something about seeing old consoles and games that is genuinely exciting, such a simpler time! Enjoyed the vid, Goldeneye is a must on the N64 Banjo Kazooie was a personal favourite as well.

Any plans to getting a gimbal? Would help with the slight up and down motion when you're walking. More ergonomic for the hand, possibly.

Haha, I actually never owned either of those so it will be cool to live vicariously through you and your experience.

I love how excited you are to get that N64 lol. It took me back to my childhood when I got mine. Also, may I recommend Doom 64? It's often forgotten about in the Doom franchise but it's a surprisingly great (and long) Doom game. I loved the heck out of it back in the day.

Man, if your hair is bad, I don't even know what mine is other than 'likely to grow legs and abandon my scalp'.

eBay!

Where did you buy your N64 from?

*nods* Aye, ye did well there our wee Dan! #StrangerDanger #DontStealDanny

Looking forward to some N64 action! But abandon all those cartridges except Zelda and get Banjo-Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Super Mario 64 and Perfect Dark instead. Oh, and check the minimum focusing distance on that handheld cam sir.

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are must-have N64 shooters. Also, the little panel on the N64 you opened with the warning is for the RAM Expansion Pack that is needed for a handful of games. Can't wait for the Zelda playthrough.

Lookin' good, Danny! Are you sharing a mailing address at all? I've got some N64 games I'd be willing to donate to the cause if you want them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be willing to send something in either.

Danny, the hair looks great, don't sweat it!

I don't check the Patreon page as often as I'd like, but every time I do I'm so glad I'm supporting you on this, Danny. Maith an fear!

Goldeneye goldeneye - you've gotta get a stream on this going

Fucking baller as all hell, Danny! FYI Cruisin USA is far superior to the sequel Cruisin World. One of my favorite N64 games, and I don't even like racing games. I own an N64 analogue to hdmi converter, so I'm not sure if that would help your situation.

got a tip for the fan in the vr area, just go ahead and take the glass dome off before you break it and then remove the light bulb when you play. i learned this the hard way and those can be hard to replace if the fan is older.
