Call for Q&A Questions! (Patron Exclusive Video)

Hey friends!

So I'm going to record the first Q&A video (for $5 Patrons and up) tomorrow and just wanted to open up the floor to take questions from you folks. I've tried to cover as much of the logistical, financial and creative sides as possible in our stream yesterday, and on the various podcasts I've been hitting. But I wanted to quickly create the opportunity for you to ask me directly for the first Q&A video.

So if you have any questions, please put them in the comments below and I'll post the video as soon as I'm done. Probably Thursday. If you're not the in $5 tier and have some lingering questions, fear not. I'll also be answering questions via DM, the community panel, and here in the patron feed, throughout the week. And like...forever.

Discord Chat: As an aside - the Discord chat should be 100% fixed now. Apologies for the errors - this is a new feature integrated into Patreon and it was a little tricky to get working. We're updating the chat with bots and extra channels over the week. If you still do not have access please send me a DM on Patreon with your name and Discord username and I'll rectify it as quickly as possible. Patreon are lending a lot of help with this which has been much appreciated.

FYI we've had a lot of games studios get in touch so we're looking at shooting in the coming weeks. Trying my best to plan it all properly so the first video is a real barn burner.

Okay. GET THOSE QUESTIONS IN!

Hi Danny. Congrats on taking this huge step in your career, am sure it will be a success. Do you plan on doing video/documentary collaboration with other channels/people? For instance a collaboration with someone like Colin from Kinda Funny would be awesome. Second question do plan on doing stuff like game nights with your patrons or even a facebook group where we can talk about video games. Looking forward to watch your first video from Mauritius.

Hey Danny. Many congrats. Love your style of docs. Always interesting and entertaining. Was just wondering, I know you said you would not like to do something on behalf of a charity because you didn't feel comfortable asking for people who already contribute to this amazing project to contribute to a charity as well (sorry if I messed up the meaning), I'm sure most of us would still be happy to contribute to any charity, but would you consider doing a doc on the person/team behind the Humble Bundle website? I love what that site does and would be interested to hear how it all came together and how bundles are decided on and put together and how which charities are chosen to go with them.

Si D

Yea great question. We already have a LFG group in there and some dedicated voice channels for folks to chat in.

Noclip

if youre back over near the UK i think there is still an important doc about Matthew smith to be made, programming genius , dutch communes etc etc defintely a story id like your angle on

chris bradley

Is herocat o'cat okay?

Robert Black

Hey Danny. First of all, well done on the massive support following you seem to have already gotten - however, it's not surprising as you do great work. My question is about you and your team. I'm assuming you have people helping you out? I'm wonder who they are and what they get up to?

Congrats Danny. I'd like to know what sort of team you have going to complete these docos?

Oh by the way my girlfriend is from Co Meath and she asks who do you think is going to win the all Ireland on Sunday ? Dubs or Mayo ?????

First of all, fair play to you man. It takes serious balls to take that leap of faith and go it alone. You're excellent at what you do so if anyone's going to make it work, it's you. In terms of an actual question: Working for Gamespot obviously brings with it a certain amount of clout. Do you think there are doors that won't open so easily for you with NoClip or are you hoping that your contacts over the last 5 years or whatever it is now are enough? So, GS limits the amount of time you can dedicate to telling really great stories but without GS, you have the time but not the access? I'm guessing not but I'm just trying to be a dick and not allow you be too positive. It's just not in the Irish way to only see the good side!!! :D

What camera are you going to be using?

How's things Danny hope the nerves have settled hope all is well . Just to let you know you are doing the right thing. Have watched your shows for a good few years and enjoyed and look forward to a good few more . Stan the Beagle .UK

What types of stories are you most interested in telling?

Danny, If you were to bring anyone in from the industry (journalist, developer, artist, etc.) to work full-time on the noclip team, who would you choose and why? Thanks!

Nate W.

Are there any long-term plans for distribution via alternative channels? e.g. VOD services like Netflix or even traditional television.

Morgan Pyper

Without naming any projects well into the works, what are your top three, reach for the sky video game documentaries you'd want to do?

Dean H Pritchett

I don't know if you read all of it, but i will be spamming this idea for documentary until i will got word from you. If you ever will want to do some docs about fighting game community, Brollylegs is someone you should at least include in it, if not make whole video about his story. Google who he is, because it is a bit crazy.

Lukasz Sobiecki

I'm going to be starting college soon. What kind of classes would you recommend for someone who would want to do something similar to what you do?

In 2015, I worked at movie theater and Jesse Ventura threatened to break my neck over Star Wars tickets

Danny! Had another question pop up! On the Giant Bombcast this week the crew mentions Dead Rising 1's achievements being the first time that a game asked the player play the game differently to unlock them. I distinctly remember having the same feeling playing Dead Rising, having a moment when I thought "oh, this changes how I will progress through this game." Any chance of doing a documentary or op-ed video about the creation and evolution of meta-play, Achievements/trophies?

BulkySkull

So, a simple question from me; which oddworld game do you like the most?

Hey Danny, I'm a wildly irrational fan who's honestly just waiting for a chance to rant about you not doing enough to earn my money on reddit. What overly inflated promises can you make to satisfy my weirdly insecure need to rage about content I would never have the temerity to make myself in the first place?

Hi Danny I'm in college doing a graphic design course , I would love to see the process you use when creating graphic for and editing of your videos. I hope you will considered showing some of this in your behind the scene videos. thanks

Troy Lindstrom

I'd love to watch more Amiga stuff, which we all know Danny has a soft spot for. Or anything about the 8 and 16-bit era's.

Are you going to remain in Oakland? Could there be a meetup in the area for patrons?

I have all sorts of questions I want to ask about complex and difficult things, but for now I'll try to simplify: Are there any games, companies, or topics you flat out refuse to cover? PS - You need to fix the "Q: Where do you stream from?" on your Twitch FAQ when you get the chance.

Andrew T. Wilson

Danny, during one of your billion live streams on launch day you mentioned Max Payne 3 being one of your favorite games. It is a very divisive game, especially among long time fans of the franchise that felt Rockstar took too many liberties with the property. I would love to hear what about that game resonated so strongly with you and what your history with the franchise is.

BulkySkull

Thanks for all the updates folks. I'm collating your details to see if we can force emails out for the discord server. Quite a lot of you have actually received emails in spam filters, or since we did the last push - so if you could double check your inboxes that would be great. For the rest of you, sorry for the hassle, and thanks for your patience.

Noclip

Is the discord server up yet?

Wendell Williston

Peppercorn Burger with Bleu Cheese?

Kyle Castle

Have you seen any good documentaries lately?

Kyle Hinze

What do your parents think about what you do for a living? This is crazy right? Also congratulations, so happy for you and the start of this project/life.

Describe your ideal Sunday...

The Point always had really nice production values. If you are doing the new op-ed format through Twitch, how do you plan to approach production values in what is usually a spontaneous, live format?

Aaron

Any interest in doing docs about some earlier periods in the gaming hobby? Would love to see documentaries featuring people like Richard Garriott talking about the early Ultima games or Sid Meier talking about his Microprose days. Gaming is still relatively young but this period of history runs the risk of disappearing if it isn't covered in some form. Would love to hear about the business challenges, the tools they had to use, what they'd so different in retrospect, etc..

Not so much a question about the project but your home studio set up in the promotional video looks pretty cool. Any chance you could list what equipment you're using? Monitors, monitor stand, mixer desk, etc?

pilotxian

Why are you so awesome?

The Blizzard documentary convinced me to donate, so I want to ask you about it: What did you least expect to see or find out when working with Blizz and what amazed you the most about that company?

I was not able to watch the stream or listen to any of the podcasts, so sorry if this was already covered, but, have you considered the possible affect of people contributing more per month in the begging that what they intend to continually contribute. I am undecided if I fall into this category. I wanted to give a decent chunk up front and am not sure if I will continue at the same level. I would be surprised if I was the only one to either do or think about doing that.

Randy Alderson

Will there be docs based on games media as well as game development? Also do you have any collabs with other members of the game media?

Danny, if money and access were no object, what would be the things you most wanted to make a documentary on?

What was the trigger that set you on the road to NoClip? Was it something specific or a collection of things?

Apologies if you covered any of this yesterday but, here are my biggest questions: Will your content be themed and grouped into seasons or are you planning on producing / releasing every show format, year round? Will there be a podcast eventually? How much time will be allocated to documenting your process (bloopers, behind the scenes, making-of type footage) moving forward?

Is Noclip going to be strictly videogame related? Or will you be open to produce docs on different forms of entertainment?

Majed

Can we expect each studio/game doc to be one video or broken up into topical parts? Or might it vary depending on topic and content captured?

Do you plan on doing any videos like random encounter again? Obviously with a different title, but it was one of my favorite shows of yours!

What would be your moonshot project? Or in other words, do you have an ideal story you would love to cover but for whatever reason, are unable to?

Congratulations! I am real interested in the nitty-gritty of your video creation process. What gear do you have and what would you suggest for folks getting started? What software do you use and what are some good ways to learn said software?

What kind of story would you want to tell if you did a doc with Todd Howard?

First thing that came to mind for me: do you plan to find a common theme between the episodes? It would be kinda cool if at the end of a year you could collect a series of doc in what would basically be a feature.

Emilio Bellu

I remember first watching you on citizen game, E3 2009, you had just released your new video show with you and Tamoor, and now you're here. Firstly, well done, you deserve every bit of it, did you think you would ever make it to this point? Second, you talk in the patron video about making a website for this stuff, apart from the documentaries, what else can we expect from it and will you be bringing on any presenters/writers or will it just be you in front of the camera?

I gave you my money, Danny, to get the answer to one question, and one question only... what the fuck happened between Kojima & Konami??

How often will your cat be guest starring?

Are there any writers or content creators out there that you look up to or feel they have influenced how you are now or are pushing you to do something in particular with this project? Congrats Danny.

Chris Thorn

I know some developers and publishers might be more secretive than others so I'm interested in how much access do you feel like you have. for example I would love to see a video on Retro studios and how such a pretty much unknown studio at the time managed to convince Nintendo to give them a shot at Metroid when it was dormant for an entire generation, and how they managed to make such a masterpiece despite all the concerns. I think that would be a fascinating story but I also know that Nintendo is pretty secretive and closed and so making a video about it that would go deeper than the wikipedia page may not be possible unfortunately.

Which game story in the last 15 or so years would you most like to have covered or seen covered elsewhere in this short documentary style?

Hi Danny, congrats on how well this is all going! Q1: Can we get a sneak peak on some topics you're thinking about for the new The Point-like show? Q2; Who are the top studios you'd like to talk to/ stories you'd like to tell for your new series? Has anyone got in contact about them yet?

Hannah C

Danny, really happy for you. Can't wait to see what you push out the door. When you decided to start noclip did you consider moving back to GB or Ireland? Is it advantageous to remain in San Fransisco given the type of work you'll be doing? Cheers.

Q : Apart from the money aspect (which is kind of taken care of), what will be your biggest challenge with NoClip?

Hi Danny, congratulations. Two questions: Was the plan to always do this independently or did you think about producing these documentaries with Gamespot (or another games media company)? To me it seems that to produce more features than the 1 a month you are aiming for would be difficult with just you, if the funding keeps increasing how to you plan to expand no clip? Having a second team producing content? Making longer features? Or something else? I can't wait to see what you make, good luck!

Hey Danny, congrats on your Patreon! I am someone who did not necessarily follow your work at Gamespot, and heard about your Patreon through Kinda Funny. So since I don't know you that well, what are your typical tastes in video games? Genres you like or don't, favorite games, console etc. Maybe this will give me an idea of what documentaries to expect? Anyway, congrats again and can't to discover your work. Good luck !

I would love to hear about gaming in Ireland when you were growing up. What consoles did you grow up with or was it mainly PC? What were the popular games?

Mark Davis

What are the stories you really want to tell with this project? If money / time / language barriers weren't an option, what specific games / systems / creators are on your 'dream' list to cover?

Since you're starting a new chapter in your career/life, I thought it would good to reminisce about your past experiences. Things like, what was your first memorable gaming experience? Where did you go to college? How did you land that Gamespot job? What made you first want to do documentaries? You could answer any or all of those if you like, I'm sure you've answered similar questions in the past, but new content probably means new audience so we'd love to know a little more about what make Danny, Danny.

Hello Danny. there seems to be a bit of interest in the discord chat for people who want to chat about games writing, and support each others writing efforts. Would you be able to set up a text channel dedicated to this? Also, if you could get two game creators in the same room to have a conversation with you (disregarding any language barriers), who would they be?

Could the Patreon community become a place for meeting people for multiplayer/playing games as well as chatting about games/reviews of games? Game titles right now (e.g. Destiny) require ever larger and larger groups to get together to be fun.

Jonathan London

Q: Coming from the UK I've never really had to worry about insurance. How much of your Patronage goes towards the cost of "just not working for a large company anymore"? Q: It's likely that your streams will be very late at night for us Europeans. Will you be keeping the twitch streams free, or adding them as a patron only feature? Q: I watched KindaFunny for the first time when you were on it. It's made me realise that the key names in big video game websites leave quite regularly. Do you think that the corporate side will start to do things to make it harder for their key staff to leave? For example, what if GameSpot had _owned_ your Twitter account and forced to you to relinquish it at the end of your contract?

Graham Robinson

Heyo Boyo, So happy to finally be able to give you the money I've been trying to for years haha. Anyways, you've hung out with so many cool people at GameSpot over the years and I'm sure you've had tons of ideas that were just not possible at the time, so.. Q: Is there any old co-workers you haven't had the chance to make a video with in the past that you would like to now? I'm sure some ideas fell by the wayside either cause of time restraints or scheduling problems. So this is kind of a "best case scenario" type question. Thanks. Later bud!

Hi Danny congrats on reaching all your Patreon goals. Two questions: What are some of your favourite docs, gaming or otherwise? I quite liked Indie Game the Movie, Bedrooms to Billions is very interesting and Senna is excellent. And what was your first favourite game? Mine was Manic Miner on the ZX Spectrum.

Simon Skittrell

Sorry if this was answered during the livestream, I haven't had time to watch all of it. My question/suggestion is whether you would invite guests over for the random game-streams from time to time? As a general rule, looking at GB-content and so on, that stuff always seems to be better with two or more people in the room, providing more of a dialogue and chances for interesting sidetracks.

Kalle Färm

Hey Danny, really excited to see you do this; my favourite [redacted] episode was when you applied psychological theory to Destiny. It was fascinating. My question is should gaming be considered more seriously by behaviour science, anthropology and the like? Just now it seems a bit like a novelty. edit: also how much will it take for you to take back everything you ever said about AC: Revelations and admit that it's the best game in the series?

Linked to above: what is the best way to keep up to speed on all the content your producing, don't want to miss out so currently tracking twitter, youtube, patreon and twitch.

Jonathan London

Do you have a noclip twitter so I can set my app to notify me when that account posts? You're fantastic at replying to people on twitter, which is exactly why I don't want to turn on notifications for your personal account!

T Mack

Good day Danny, I was just wondering, if you had any plans of taking in new people? It seems like a huge endeavour and I am just curious about your team. Oh and also: Are you looking for further funding, or will you try to solely rely on Patreon money? Anyway congratulations on the success of the Patreon. I am looking forward to seeing, what you have planned, but more so to seeing your dreams come true ;). Best – Kon

Between handing in your notice at Gamespot and launching the Patreon have you had a "what the fuck have I done?" moment?

Crowdfunded docs sounds great but how will you convince people to participate without the guarantee of a mass audience once the initial buzz has faded? I'm sure connections and goodwill will triumph in the short term. Also, how do you budget for the long term if the Patreon model allows supporters to vary or withdraw their pledges in any one month? Must be a bit unsettling.

Hey Danny! Will you be joining forces with Mr Andy Bauman at all for the creative/filming of some documentaries? Could the talented Duo come back together in the future? keep up the great work!

Hey Danny! So I know video production wasn't your degree or main skill set just a couple years ago, so I ask: where and how did you learn to create such well made, professional video packages AND what have been (or what do you anticipate as being) the biggest learning curves and challenges with starting noclip in terms of production?

Tory Thompson

Off Topic Q: What did you think of the new Deftones album? It was a bit of a letdown for me, and gets a little pedestrian after the first three tracks. Koi No Yokan from 2012 is still a goddamn masterpiece though! Also, thanks for taking a chance and doing this Danny. As a long-time fan of you and your work, I couldn't be more excited for the journey ahead. of you and am honoured to be able to support it. We've got your back fam!

Hey Danny! Any plans to explore or do any documentaries around Lucasarts? As my favourite developer of yesteryear, I would love to hear about its rise and eventual fall from grace, directly from the people involved. Or maybe profiles of some of it's greater works, like Day of the Tentacle or Monkey Island. Any excuse to get Tim Schafer on camera will do though. That man is delightful.

Hey Danny. Why do you think audiences are so hungry for behind-the-scenes or how-it's-made content? You seem to come to your work from an interest in games primarily, but does the documentary format interest you more generally? Do you see yourself embarking on a games career or a documentary career first and foremost? Thanks! Glad you're doing this!

Danny, first of all, fuck yeah for going independent and "doing a Kinda Funny" and congrats on the success so far. My question: if you could travel to any other time period on gaming history and produce these documentaries, when would you go and who would you want to focus on?

Jack Chambers-Ward

Well boy! Do you have plans to look at the non-dev side of the global publishing industry? Subjects like CS, outsourcing, distribution, marketing and pricing strategies can be a bit dry, but they could also contain some interesting info.

Congrata on the patreon, Three quick questions Q: will you be streaming over events like E3 and other conferences Q: will there be higher goals? think youll easily reach them! Q: what was it like to work with patroen themselves when creating it? Bonus Q: tayto or king?

Are you interested in producing 'Double Fine Adventure'-like making of's? What's your cats name? How will you balance your production and private time? Don't you fear to put too much time in producing content? Real life needs some love too!

Technical question, then a fun question 1. Do you think having content on two YouTube channels splits your audience? 2. Is there one unanswered question within the gaming industry that has always been knawing at you that you'd like to find the answer to?

Wesley Bray

I know it is early days yet but are you planning to have a fixed schedule for content or will it done when it's done (which is fine by me).

Q. Will you be doing any documentaries similar to "How Video Games Changed the World" that try to explain gaming to a non-gaming audience? One of the few times I've been able to explain my hobby to my father.

Edward Steele

Q: How are you doing, man?

Hey Danny, I think it's great what you're doing. I was bummed when I heard you were leaving GameSpot, but thinking about it now, I think you're making the right call. No risk, no reward right? Looking forward to the things to come. My question: I've been following you since the beginning, and one of my favourite pieces, and the one that caught my attention, was your annual "Year in the life of a gamer" videos. Any plans to start those again? Also, in your travels, if you ever find yourself on the Canadian West Coast, beers on me. Cheers.

First i must say that iam very happy for you, reaching your goal so fast is awesome! And i wanna thank you for letting us be a part of it all. We belive in you👍 Now to my question! Q: After doing the No man's sky - the next big game. Did you feel they were 100% honest, considering the downgrades the game had on release? Pretty much all games has downgrades now a days, but No man's sky seems to have alot. PS: Iam still playing it and loving it 😝

I know you will do well on the documentary side of things. But, will you be vlogging on your personal channel? Let us live vicariously through you!

Q: What kind of equipment (cameras, lights, switchers like a tricaster mini) are you thinking of getting. Do you have a fav brand when it comes to this type of videography equipment? Really looking forward to what you produce, you are a great person!

Now that you have a decent budget, is there any aspect of the Noclip/Dannyodwyer projects that you'll want to contract out? How much of a one/two-man operation do you hope to be?

R.J. Nye

Just want to wish you good luck mate! Hope you succeed :)

Andrew Ivens

I'm wondering if Noclip will encompass all aspects of your gaming output (i.e. gameplays of newer or historical games, op-eds on current industry issues, podcasts and other types of content) or if it's specifically the home of the documentary portion of your content going forward and the rest of your projects will live on different channels which you or others control?

What do you foresee as your biggest challenge moving forward?

As for my question, what would be your dream doc? Small, big, obscure, whatever. What's the one you would love to do most, cost not a factor.

I can only imagine how scary it was to leave a gig like gamespot and take the leap of venturing off into something so different than what's out there currently. My hats off to you sir and I will gladly buy you a pint next time your in Oregon.

Danny, Let me first start off by saying that this new journey is incredible and I wish you the most success. Now to my question which I have resorted to the first Patreon Q&A to ask as I cannot, for the life of me, find the answer to this... What is the name of the song that is played after the intro (during the Red Dead Redemption part) of the No Man's Sky episode of The Point? For reference, it starts at the 1:50 mark during the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6exsGnp_4MY It also is played during the latest episode (Exploring The Real Liberty City) as well. People have asked in the YouTube comments and on the Gamespot website but no one has been able to answer this question! My ears are begging for the name of this song Danny, will this be the time when the question gets answered?

Having yet to fully establish the tone of NoClip, with your first release lingering, what do you hope your seminal episode/short establishes for the channel going forward?

Don Sheil

Any chance that you'll do an "episode" on the Amiga? You're love for the system really came across on UPF last week. P.S. Cannon Fodder rules!

Sean & Chloe

Do you have a favorite margarita recipe?

Justin Dotson

Will you do a feature about the development environments in different studios? I need to know how Rockstar games operate!

Which of the Kinda Funny guys do you hate the most? (I bet it's Kevin.) ;) 😘

PSWiitch

The term "video game documentary" usually means a peice focused on a game or studio and its story, like 'Indy game the movie'. But it can also be about more ancillary aspects of the industry, like the people who play games or make things with games. So my question is : what is your main focus for your work going ahead? Is it going to be mainly developers and indistry professionals that you interview, or would you consider doing something about a secondaey topic like 'esports', the dolphin emulator or the warcraft movie? Love your stuff hope you deliver mate

Do you think there is any chance that a developer of an annual sports game (madden, Fifa , etc) would let you do a feature on them? It would be super interesting to see how the developers there work.

Q1: Are you planning on having cameos, since I can't think of a better term, of your friends and previous coworkers as experts on topic for some of these docs? Or are you hoping to keep these smaller and focused with light crew? Q2: Although this seems unrelated to noclip, are you planning on [somehow] fitting in your YouTube channel videos as well? I'm a huge fan of A Tournament (a Tournament, a tournament) of Lies and am hoping to see that awesome content continue alongside your docs- even if at a slower pace. When you kicked this off, I joined and became a patron immediately. I'm stoked to see what you come up with. Congrats and good luck! ☺️

Khetix

What is your dream project? if you could do a documentary on any thing, unlimited access, what would it be?

Were you planning on looking at games that may be a little more obscure (or not popular)? A couple examples I can provide is the Crusader Isometric games from EA and the Breach strategy series on PC.

Iceman2343

Did this passion come about from working on the point on gamespot???

You've stated or at least alluded to that this project has been your big goal or end game since you started on the path of games journalism. So why now? What epiphany or set of circumstances lead you to going for it now?

Josh Rai

Not a question really, but it would be cool if you posted a daily roundup of the podcasts etc you were on that day here on patreon. I've seen you mention several but I don't follow or necessarily have the time to track down all of them. I know you're on a blitz to get the word out and keep that up, but let us know right?

Chris Ramos

You're obviously qualified to produce this type of content, with a demo reel a mile long. We all have faith in you. Be honest... is this whole experience still a little terrifying? How hard was the decision to leave the safety of a full time job to strike out on your own? Was there a single tipping point that led you to this decision? Best of luck!

Whats it like to see your passion project take off like this?

Hey Danny, what's your favorite thing about living in America and your least favorite thing?

Jeff Freeman

How often will Hero be featuring in your videos? In all seriousness, what was your typical production timeline like for your longer features on Gamespot (Witcher 3, Overwatch, etc)? How long were you shooting versus editing? Are you shooting the docs linearly, or are you planning on shooting different pieces for different docs as logistics permits?

Was there a specific game or story that triggered this project for you? Personally, I've always been fascinated by Shigesato Itoi's involvement in the Mother/Earthbound franchise and how a renaissance man such as Itoi got involved with video games in the first place, let alone became the figurehead of a cult franchise. What game/story became your number one curiosity OR what game/story did you realize MUST be told?

Q: (Excluding your wife and family) Who has been the biggest help to you while you've been trying to get this idea off the ground?

Legion Vs Ninja

Q: If there was one big story, one big fish that you want but believe is IMPOSSIBLE to get answers to for any reason, like the Atlantis of subjects, what is it?

Cameron Abbott

Would any of the content you're interested in making include items like the "Making of" a game, or would it more focus around perhaps exploring the world-building of certain titles (similar to your GTA4 video)?

Speaking of studios, are you going to be prioritizing the big guys or the little ones? Or is your schedule going to be colorful and include a balanced mish-mash of the two?

Michel Sabbagh

Will you still be attending events like E3 and PAX? Maybe on some panels or just as a regular dude? Thanks for everything pal!

How much do I pay to give you a hug?

Q: Where do you see NoClip in 1 year? In 5 years? And in 10 years? Do you think the Patreon model is sustainable for the long term?

How do you come across documentary topic ideas? Everyday living and one day coming across it and having the grand question of "where are they today?" or someone reaching out to you?

Now that your stretch goals have been reached, which overseas based story are you most interested in telling. Thanks Danny

Justin Salisbury

Do you plan any collaborations in the future? Adam Sessler to me is the icon of video games journalism and I think you're are getting to that status so I was just "fan-girling" about you two doing a collabo :)

Tohir Tillyaev

No questions here, just wanted to say keep on doing great work dude!

At what point in time did this idea pop up in your head? Is it something that you've been wanting to do but you wouldn't get the proper budget? Really excited to see how it turned out!

transcriptiontranslation

Q: What happened to fish-sticks? Are they still a thing? I haven't had or seen one since I was about 10

Dan Fiorentine

Greetings from the Easy Allies community! Now that you're part of a project where the collective voice will be driven by... yourself, how do you plan to approach the challenge of appealing to younger gamers? This is the YouTube generation, so you'd think that high-quality regular video content would be right up their alley, but I've heard from others that marketing to them can be very challenging.

Michael Wilson

How excited are you for venturing out on your own, as well as making these '30 for 30' docs?

Quinten Hoffman

What's the best way to teach yourself how to edit video and produce content? Also what's the biggest hurdle to putting your content out there when you're just getting started?

What is the big wildest dream project/doc that you would love to do if the stars aligned?
