Art for Ross Draw's challenge

The amount of layers I put on this drawing is INSANE. I was trying to replicate his lighting, and I'm beginning to think it's mostly layers and layers of things.

The final colored line art got duplicated four additional times, I think. One, I used the dodge and burn tools on to make areas darker or lighter in the very intense way he tends to use. I set that to about 50% opacity over the original. One one layer, I blurred the whole thing and set that to Overlay and took down the opacity again. On another layer, I lightened the hell out of the image, really took up the brightness and contrast, then used motion blur to blur it at an angle. I focused this on the hand especially by selecting that area and really jacking up the colors and blur. Then I set that layer to overlay too, I think. Then on the last copy, I jacked up the contrast the other way and made it really dark and set that to overlay too, and used a soft eraser on any areas that I didn't need darkened so much.

Then there are like, five textures on this in addition. Two on the black of her outfit, a starry texture over all of it, a texture for noise, and a generic grunge texture I use on everything. All set to overlay.

I added a blur of purple set to multiply (or overlay, don't remember) around the edge of the whole thing.

I made another layer in splotches of orange/purple/white wherever I needed things to be darker or lighter still. I set that to overlay too.

The lines are three layers:

Bottom: colored lines in a greyish purple at 50% opacity, then modified in various spots for a better color match

Middle: mostly black lines set to overlay, modified in areas that I needed the color to match better

Top: lines but softly blurred and set to overlay (always!)

I don't even know, it's done.
